After 70 games last season we were sitting at 45-25.... Exactly the same as this year. Let's look at what we have left on the schedule.

@Suns
Nuggets
Suns
Clippers
@lakers
Pelicans
@Nets
Wolves
@Warriors
Jazz
@Thunder
@Mavericks

I easily see 8 - 10 wins of that remaining 12.

I'd be happy with 9 more wins and the same mark as last year. It would be nice to win 10 though.

We play TWO playoff teams in our next 10 games. If we ever want to grab HCA or even rise in the standings, now is the time. Not to forget, one of the playoff teams is Golden State who could realistically be resting a lot of their core that late into the season since they will have the league's best record locked up before then.

What worries me is I see a shit ton of trap games in those remaining 12 games ... @lakers, Pelicans, @Nets, etc ... and we all know this team has a history of playing down to their competition.

BUT, if we can find a way to finish the regular season strong as we did last spring, we could ride that wave of momentum into our First Round matchup and make a little noise once again! I think it all starts with Friday's contest in Phoenix.

Last night was reminiscent of the game @ ATL last season when LA came back from injury. We won in CHI the next night and finished the rest of the games very strongly.

Need that now.

I keep forgetting that that Snow'ed out game against Brooklyn had to be made up. Tough to do a one-game East Coast trip then back to Portland.

Only the GSW game is one we shouldn't expect to win - and as mentioned above, they should be resting players by then. Big opportunity to make up ground - get 'er done!

I agree. The #3 seed is absolutely not out of the question, Houston could fall flat on its face again at any time.

This season is soon weird... I wouldn't be surprised if we finished the season with the same record, face Houston on the road in the first round and beat them in game 6 with Lillard hitting a shot with .9 remaining.

Houston would riot if that happened again.
