That's a pretty good lineup right there! Am I wrong?

Meyers Leonard
Thomas Robinson
Dorell Wright
C.J. McCollum
Mo Williams

My biggest concern with that lineup (not sure how many minutes that actual lineup will get) is that Leonard and Robinson both do better with a PG who can pass to them in prime positions. They are not great at creating their own shot. Mo Williams is a decent passer, but not great. McCollum has shown he isn't ready to handle that yet. My guess it that you will see some of Lillard playing with some of that lineup and some of Mo Williams playing with the first unit to balance that out.

With those shooters out there jacking 3s left and right.......Robinson might lead the NBA in offensive rebounds. Putbacks is more his game than posting up anyway.

Good point. That might be the best way to run that group. They certainly will be better than last year.

You wrong? Don't be ridiculous!

I am excited about this bench and this team could be great.

I don't think Trob or Meyers will need to shoot much
So getting them the ball is not a concern of mine.

Agree with TRob.

But if Meyers is not shooting what is he going to be doing? He has the skills of Matt Bonner.

Yes, you're wrong. For one thing, you've forgotten Claver. And for another, Leonard is pretty much useless. I think Stotts would play Mo and Dorell and possibly Victor and leave it at that (basically go small). But the higher ups will (a) want to see the young players play, and (b) want to lose more to get a shot at the lottery, so there will be pressure to play CJ and Robinson.

Oh, and don't forget Will the Thrill!

Setting a screen would be nice. But I should not have dismissed his shooting. But it's not like they need a good passing PG to to feed him down low. At 7' he will often be open for a mid range J. (10-12 feet) Other centers will leave him open. Either way I am not concerned with him being the focal point of their offense.

Claver won't be playing anything but Luke Babbitt garbage minutes at the 4.

lol... yeah... CJ is so bad, the "higher ups" will have to force Stotts to play him.

No one has forgotten anybody. As much as I like Claver, he and Barton are nonsequiturs.

For a bench that has one and a half proven commodities... I'm actually kind of excited.

McCollum has a testy personality. He'll be subdued his first year, but after that he may ruin the chemistry. Before the draft, they asked him if he wanted Portland to draft him, and he said, not really, since the Blazers already had his unmet twitter friend Lillard. Look at the end of this interview.

This guy is nothing but trouble. My favorite Earl Watson will run rings around the double-chinned rookie.

Really? Haha

C.J. seemed pretty excited on draft night.

Looked good on paper.

We were both wrong.

That Lineup hasn't been in the game yet.
