What do you guys think was the plan for him? Clearly he was targeted, since Olshey gave up 2 picks to get him. But we also have Matthews and drafted McCollum. Do you think the intention was for McCollum and Crabbe to comprise our reserve backcourt? Does McCollum's apparent lack of PG skill limit that possibility? Or is Crabbe supposed to eventually be Matthews' replacement? Or McCollum's backup? Or do you think Olshey just saw him as an under-valued first round talent?
I guess the basis of my question is this: if Crabbe, McCollum, and Matthews (and Lillard, of course) are all supposed to (eventually) simultaneously be contributing parts of the roster, how are they supposed to fit together?
