What do you guys think about him? His lyrics? His gangbanger background which still lies today?Thoughts?
 
My favorite rapper of all time behind 2Pac. The guy is insane. He took down a huge group [G-Unit] by himself. 300 Bars is one of the best disses of ALL time and the guy is on his sophomore album. We'll see if 50 wrote his last album when the Doctor's Advocate drops. He's gonna surprise a lot of people with this album.
 
Game is a solid mainstream rapper, probably one of the better ones out there today. He ripped G-Unit to shreads, great disser.
 
G-Unit is still going strong though... so I don't see how he took them down. He himself admitted he "almost" took down G-Unit, and claimed that he would love to work with 50 Cent and Young Buck today (not with any other members obviously).The guy makes great music, but he is such a fake in my opinion... he's just like a little drama queen sometimes. Looking forward to his sophomore album though...

Lyrically hes nothing more then average and now hes starting beef with Ras Kass who is 10000000x better then him lyrically.
 
Almost? C'mon what has G-Unit had worth listening to lately? It's all the same on every song. 50 singing and the other scrubs yapping about dumb sh*t. I'll admit that 50 has the potential he proved it before he was signed and his first album was great but what is the man doing now? Buck is okay. The rest of them are garbage.

Scrappy was wack before now with G-Unit I won't be able to stand his music. Banks and Buck will sell, that's the original G-Unit but none of these new guys will be worth giving a listen. I agree they are not completely off the map but compare them now to what they were before last summer. As long as these guys look up to a washed up singer [50] as their leader they will not succeed.50 helped him on the last album that's true but you were wrong when you said all but one of his singles had 50. 2 of them didn't. "Dreams", "Put you on The Game". He left aftermath so that 50 won't make money off his album sales seeing as he was still part of G-unit. I think he will succeed with Geffen, the artist will sell regardless of the label.He has crazy producers on this album.Kanye, Cool and Dre, Scott Storch, Will.I.AM, just to name a few.Those to go along with apperances by Mary J, Nas, Kanye, and others. The album will be hot regardless we'll see if he'll live up to the hype he's getting and all the talk of others writing his music.

Whoever said that Dre is on the new album doesn't know what they are talking about. Game came out and said it himself that Dre has NOTHING on this album... no production and NO Dre beats. And Geffen is a drop-off label... he didn't leave Aftermath, he got kicked off Aftermath after they got tired of him begging them for his own label (or so I heard). And then he goes and uses Lloyd Banks' little logo as the BWS logo... the dude is just obsessed with G-Unit.I mean, come on, his own brother says he isn't a gangster (yes, I know they are feuding right now, but still). All rappers say they do sh*t and they don't. The dude was on Change of Heart... and tattooed a butterfly on his face, then changed it to "LA" when everybody started making fun of him.And yes, he does change his mind every f*cking minute. Just yesterday he was on Hot 97 in New York begging for 50 Cent to talk to him and end their beef.I like Game, I really do... but I think his music would be a lot better if he didn't drop names every five seconds in his songs and didn't ride Dre's dick all the time.Oh, and another thing... Game thinks he didn't build his career on beef... well, um, without his beef with 50 Cent, nobody would give a crap about the Game. Doctor's Advocate will be a pretty good album. Dre is on alot of the beats, that's always good news.I will probably buy this one.
 
I dont know about the news between The Game and G-Unit since I dont live in the US and dont keep up with them, but from all the songs I've heard from the game...does he have to say G-Unot! on all of them???

THe guy is fake. His lyrics dont make sense he is just rhyming words that dont even make sense on a line.

I'm a big fan of Game but I won't go as far as saying that I know the dude's a gangster because I honestly don't know. There are so many dick riders that will defend game like if they know the guy, that is just weird. He's my favorite rapper right now but I won't even take it that far. I think that he would still have some buzz without the beef with 50 but obviously not even compared to what he has now.According to many people he is a fake, he's not a blood, he's this he's that man whatever. At the end of the day he's an elite MC like his persona or not. I agree with what you said about him gaining sucess also because of Dre's and 50's help but you can't really use that against him because it is rare to see a rapper make it to the top without help. Even if you go back to 'Pac, Digital Underground did A LOT for his career, A LOT! So, if you're saying Game wouldn't be anything without Dre's help then you're right and many people wouldn't idolize and follow Tupac if it wasn't for Digital Underground. I guess that's why Game rides dre's dick so much...And Pinoy, if you're just going to say he's fake and not give any backup to your post why post at all? :shifty2:
 
I understand Dre did a lot for him, etc., and I agree that he should be thankful to Dre for the opportunity he gave him, but he just takes it too far in my opinion. I mean, Dre did the same for guys like Eminem and 50, but Game just rides Dre's dick a little too much, in my opinion.

I like the Game because hes one of the few westcoasts artists out there, im from the westcoast and after Tupac and Eazy-e died, we have a few westcoast artists left (the dogg pound, snoop, too short, ice cube)
