Thoughts on the summer league so far?

I see the evolution in Robinson, he's definitely better mentally. However, my bar is low for him:

Total Moron -> Moron -> Dumbass -> Makes Some Mistakes -> Average NBA Intelligence.

He's levelled up once and close to levelling up twice. If he can just get to "Makes Some Mistakes" which I think he can by the middle/end of 2015-16, he'll really be a playa. His work ethic, motor, and physical abilities are tremendous and he understands that he needs to limit parts of his game now and develop those parts slowly over the years. His jump shot looks much improved.

I think it's just me, so not "you guys". [Edit: okay, me and Draco.] Yes, I agree he's doing fewer of the really bad things, and yes, he does rebound. But I don't think he's much of a team defender, and he always has to think once he gets the ball, instead of before he gets it. But we'll see. He can still be useful in small bursts. Even Travis was that.

Who is Tokito talking about here?

Blazers don't have open roster spot, so slim @csuf4ever: @mike Tokito What would u say are the chances of him making the team?"

Jonathan Yim is on our roster and played at Cal State Fullerton.

Huh? He is listed as an assistant coach on the summer league team. Oh, nevermind. I think you thought BGD was asking who is talking to not who he is talking about.

Someone who is on our summer league team but has a contract in China from what I can gather. I would guess Bobby Brown.

It looks like they are playing good defense, and the stats back the eye-test up:
NYK: 34.3%
Houston: 35.9%
Atlanta: 48.2%
Not a trend after 2 games, but I hope it develops into one!

Looks like a defensive lapse against Atlanta, but up by 20+ with about 6 or 8 minutes to go and we took our guys out and they went on a big run to only lose by 15. So, the 48.2% game should have an asterisk.

edit: they finished the last 6:15 8 of 9. Before that they were 19 of 47 or 40.4%

Yeah... the third string was pretty dammed bad.

They haven't updated the official stats yet, BUT...

CJ - 20.3 ppg, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2.3 steals

Will - 14.3 ppg, 6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals

TRob - 13.6 ppg, 8.6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2.3 steals,

Obviously Robinson's numbers took a hit because he only played one half of basketball. No turnovers today for Robinson though, and only 3 fouls in 25 minutes of play.

The players I hoped and thought would be good have been. The one I didn't hasn't

Chicago's McBuckets looks legit. I wanted him when he was a projected second rounder. I see a lot of Peja in his game. Along with Mirotic, I'm jealous of their off-season.

We gotta steal Gobert or Kanter from Utah!

Preferably Rudy Gobert.

McBuckets looks every bit the man people were hoping Adam Morrison would be.
