Just signed up. Looks like they are trying to compete with Twitter.

Up to 10 million in 7 hours. I’m sure it won’t take down Twitter, but it will be fun to watch.

There is enough Musk animosity that this is very likely to be a successful product. If it will kill Twitter or not - is to be determined, I have my doubts, but I suspect it will be successful.

The artist formally known as Facebook finally woke up from the Meta nonsense hangover, they know how to do social.

Is this app only? No desktop?
They need to hurry up and develop something approximating Tweetdeck ASAP.

In fact, a desktop app allowing users to see their FB, IG, and Threads feeds all in the same window (maybe even integrating Whatsapp?) would be incredibly useful.

Did I just read that TweetDeck for Mac is done. Going away.

Looks like they just copy/pasted from Twitter
And that's really too bad. Twitter actually is a horrible, very non-intuitive platform. I have a pal who wrote a NYT bestseller about Twitter. He calls it "a clown car that got lucky."

I have never understood it... I get that media can use the heck out of it, but the average everyday person... I don't get it.
