Cuban: Nets insisted on Diop
March 7, 2008, 8:57 pm When the Nets and Mavs trade was announced, DeSagana Diop was listed under “expiring contracts”. But the Dallas Morning News reports that the deal wouldn’t have gotten done without the 7-footer. The Nets, Mark Cuban told reporters, insisted on Diop. Now, Rod Thorn and Kiki Vandeweghe both say they want to keep Diop when the contract expires this summer.

Kool, i want him to resign also.

We might be competing with Dallas. I'm sure they would love to re-sign Diop.

I wonder who Diop would want to sign with.

A winning team, a team that'll give him the most minutes...or is it all about money (like usual)?

I thought "we" was Dallas?

He's our new Jason Collins, only a LOT better

I'd rather not sign him. He hasn't got good money yet and I bet half the teams in the league will be looking at him.

We is Nets and Mavericks. Don't turn your back to me, I'm still with you guys.

i don't see why he would want to stay here, he won't start and we are far from being a good team and seeing as how Miami would love to sign him, he's a goner
