For those of you that still care...........

RHP - Michael Pineda (2-6, 6.92 ERA)

VS.

LHP - Matt Boyd (0-0, 2.79 ERA)

NOTE: This is a make up game from an earlier rainout. 3 game series @ Orioles begins on Friday.

Also..........

In 52 games this year the Yankees have scored a league leading 2 runs or less in 23 of those games where they have a record of 2-21.

They have scored one run or less 12 times already this year. 0-12

The line may be on the Yankees but with Pinhead on the mound and boppers in the Detroit lineup I am not confident,

So the .500 record was a tease after all? Lol!

TONIGHT'S LINEUP..............

CF - Ellsbury (280)
SS - Castro (245)
RF - Beltran (270)
1B - Teixeira (185)
DH - Rodriquez (174)
3B - Headley (230)
C - Romine (315)
2B - Refsnyder (286)
LF - Hicks (192)

I had all I could do from LMAO while typing in the #4 & 5 hitters. Averaging 180 between them. what a f'king joke.

Pretty shabby team when all one can do is substitute one bad apple for another. John Kay would have sang "underneath this teams the same, only difference is their name. Once again thank Cashman the resident garbage collector.

Such confidence when 4.5.6 is batting a combined .196 and you basically have a pitcher in the nine spot.

When scoring 4 runs or more the Yankees are 18-3
When scoring less than 4 runs the Yankees are 6-25

10 batters 29 pitches. That is absolutely pathetic, these Idiots refuse to work the pitch count.

3 Innings, no hits, has Vegas taken us off the board yet?

...^^^

Vegas has the Yanx in a 1 week pending mode, while Reno has flat gave up, removing the Yanx from the Pennant and PS equation/odds....

over/under, definitely 6 feet under...

Getting punked by a God Damn Rookie! %^^%(%(^&$%$%^$*(^(&^&)(*).

I swear every single time I see a rookie, who's more than holding his own, excelling, makes me want Trashman's Head in a dog food bowl, (nah, 2nd thought, it would poison the dogs)....

take the Scouting Director/Farm Director, bundle 'em all up and ship 'em to Tijuana's ball club...why can this team not discover talent, yet most teams have a plethora of much higher rated prospects....?

Looks like Mr. Crooked Head went to see a Chiropractor, as his head is 10 degrees less tilted....

Pinhead gives one up with two out two strikes, that may well be this ball game.

Such confidence when 4.5.6 is batting a combined .196 and you basically have a pitcher in the nine spot.

... one way of looking at the 4,5,6,9 spots would be to say "Well, they have to get better than they've been because they can't get any worse". ...or can they?

David Ortiz now surpassing the entire Yankees lineup's production.

.339 16 hrs 51 RBIs

Don't worry, our old buddy Phil Hughes is pitching against Tampa Bay tonight. I'm sure he'll want to get a win and help his former club maintain its 4th place standing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yankees being no hit through 5 innings on only 52 pitches. Nothing like swinging at everything & anything.

...Tex still trying to hit that elusive 5-run HR when a single will suffice...great job, jackass.

Finally a real rally, from Ellsbury, 3 Ribbies, wonder when the last game was Jacoby had 3 RBI's....? A "boredom nap" awaken-er....

Welcome Bengals to: Los Tres Bomberos

I'd love to see Ref stay for the rest of the year, and let Headley spend the rest of his contract in Wilkes-Barre....singing this tune all the way to his new permanent home...

...Tex still trying to hit that elusive 5-run HR when a single will suffice...great job, jackass.

109 games left and counting to goodbye, cya.....I'd like to say it's been fun, but its been more painful than fun....

Nice play Headley you DICK! Now bases jammed with nobody out for the tigers in the 9th.

Piss poor overall job by the "big three" almost shit the damn bed especially the spouse abuser who allegedly closed. Not just a smidgen of luck but a gift wrapped game. I'm wondering when if ever we'll see this group win a crisp game where they come in, take charge, show hitting and defensive skills that merit that type of win.
