I'd be willing to bet KP (aka the Blazers) would sign LaMarcus today if LaMarcus' agent would simply agree to all of their terms.

Conversely, I'd be willing to bet LaMarcus' agent would recommend that LaMarcus sign today if KP (aka the Blazers) would simply agree to all of LaMarcus' agent's terms.

So then, by your statement, is it safe to conclude you believe KP (aka the Blazers) should simply agree to every single thing LaMarcus' agent demands, or else KP should 'resign?'

IOW, if LaMarcus' agent were demanding a full max contract and player option and numerous other perks and incentives, KP is not doing his job properly UNLESS he simply rolls over, turns over the GM duties to LaMarcus' agent, and gives them whatever they demand, Pronto?

Because if he were to do that, IMO then he really should resign. But he won't.
