I think it’s time for a new coach. I think Terry is a good veterans coach, but he hasn’t really developed anyone. Outside of Dame and CJ, who were considered NBA ready, most of our rookies have plateaued hard. That has to be on the coaches.

New coach and GM. Go with Virginia's highly successful coach, Tony Bennett, and let him transform this team. This is not a popular opinion, however, I'd say everybody is up for grabs and truly rebuild the foundation of team while acquiring high quality picks over the next 3 to 5 seasons.

To be quite frank, I don't know your history with each other on O-live. But from what I read, I edited what I saw as a personal insult. If there was a deeper insult by him, it didn't resonate as much as yours did. Let bygones be bygones. Kumbaya and all.

It will be hard to watch this team rest of the season. But worse thing is it will be very hard to Lillard too. The way organisation treats him would be good for Westbrook. Imagine how fine Brick woul be here: "No help for you captain, but you are the best - take us to the playoffs." "Ok! Thats great!". And imagine Lillard getting help from PG or Durant.
So was this shit about Dame and Paul meeting? Coffee and Will Burton?

Dame could be bit disappointed with this team and it's a shame for Blazers. Why you want free agents to come here. This team can do nothing good for years. What would you come here?

And the worst thing is "they" explore Dame for nothing this year. He will score 50 at times and put this team on his back again and again and for nothing. At this point he could play easy minutes as well cos there's no point of riding his health for no reason.

For me, it's been a year-long meltdown. (After the Nurkic injury, I skipped the last month and playoffs.) Apparently for Gramps, it's long-term too. But for you homers, you'll say, "It was only one game!"

None of the contracts the Cavs moved were like the boat anchors the Blazers have saddled themselves with in Harkless, MyLe, and Turner. They have very few movable assets when, unequivocally, they say that they aren't willing to part with CJ.

The contracts the Cavs moved at the deadline are a lot more like the contracts the Blazers have in Aminu, Davis, Vonleh, and Napier. And Crowder's role, deal, and performance aren't all that dissimilar from Harkless'.

Turner and Leonard notwithstanding, the Blazers had/have some movable contracts, and didn't use any of them, while the Cavs did. That's not an unreasonable observation.

fully agree, glad to see this viewpoint becoming more embraced by other posters, I have been on that boat for a while. Frankly this team as constructed and coached is for me very hard to watch, as the season progresses my interest diminishes, this is somply awful basketball to watch, I enjoyed earlier versions more when we had losing seasons.

Ok, I've figured out what the problem is. It's not the players at all !! It's our LOGO !! It's that weird ying / yang thing with the five lines of two colors meeting in the middle with equal balance and symmetry on each side !! The alien space gods created it who dwell in the clouds above Portland and they laugh with glee as they watch our team struggle to win. But it will never happen !! It's the power of the ying/yang logo !! It's win/lose perfection !!

Maybe we could switch it to some 1800's fur trader blasting a beaver, or a elk with a black powder rifle.
