I really like him as coach. With inferior talent he gets wins. He’s a drill sergeant who will hold players accountable.

The knock against him is he’s real old school - players like Kareem played 40+ minutes per game, and Thibs plays his best guys big minutes, too.

In Chicago, Derrick Rose was in a game late in Q4 when the result wasn’t in doubt. Rose was injured and the Bulls lost their franchise player - significant for a team that has a terrible owner.

I don’t know why the Knicks let him go.

He’d be a good fit here because his brand of basketball is well suited for a small market team that isn’t the most popular for free agents.

I'd love to have him as a defensive coordinator but not as a head coach.

Lots of good names out there. I don't think we should promote from within. It's time for a clean slate.

Splitter brings championship pedigrees as a player and coach. We are fine for now. I think he has been groomed for this position.

Just let the season play out with Splitter as the Head Coach. If he somehow gets this roster to the playoffs, which would be a miracle then lock him up as our head coach going forward. If the likely happens and we end up falling short of or in the play-in then Dundon gets to hand pick his new coach this off season.
