I know it's only 2 games but it was interesting to see us having 2 so high up. I think the last time we had 2 scoring threats like this was Clyde and Kiki.

I don't want to jinx it, and I know it's just two games in, but Damian's PER is superstar level right now: 27.2, with a WS/48 of .307 (also superstar level), and a raw FG% of 48.5% (way up from last year). And to my eyes, it's all coming in the flow, with no attempt at taking over needed. He's just doing work, and taking care of the ball. Leads the team in assists, and only has one turnover in two games.

I am happy to say that I have two of the above players on my sportstwo fantasy team.

And also, we are going to have a special player in Dame. He is only going to get better. Let's enjoy this!
 
The Thunder are missing Westbrook like crazy. That team went from extremely talented with Durant, Westbrook, and Harden, to just completely one dimensional now.

Watch: Durant's going to go down, they'll be in the lottery and they'll get Wiggins. It'll be like the Spurs getting Tim Duncan...
 
Nice top-10 pairings. Two Pauls, two Kevins, and DeMarcus/LaMarcus. If only LeBron were alongside Harden, then we'd also have two James.

I was going to say.... Notice also he's shooting 14.5 free throws a game and making 90% of them. Note to Blazers: Don't breath on the new golden child, Kevin Durant.

And then they'll trade away Durant the following summer to save money.
 
I noticed LMA is taking the most shots on that list. In other words, not drawing enough contact in the paint.
 
Two games in, but Dame is really playing well. After the rookie season he has last year, all he really needed to do is up his shooting percentages and down his turnovers and we have a superstar on our hands. I'm giddy thinking about that cold-blooded assassin in the playoffs.
 
This team really needs a third threat. Fucking come on Nic keep being aggressive.

He draws plenty of contact when in the paint. Unfortunately the refs aren't giving him all star calls. It's pretty pathetic really
 
We should trade them for 1 50pt scorer.

I don't know.... if the Thunder are relying on him to create all their offense, his shooting could remain low like that. Maybe not that low, but he shot a fairly low percentage before they got Westbrook.

It probably has something to do with teams being able to focus their defense entirely on KD.

The numbers from his rookie year pre-Westbrook and his current numbers are strikingly similar.

2007-2008 - 17.1 FGA, 43% from the floor, 28.8% from downtown
2013-2014 - 17.5 FGA, 37% from the floor, 23% from downtown

Edited to add his career averages - 18.8 FGA, 47.4% from the floor, and 37% from downtown.
I think the Thunder are desperately missing that second option on offense, and so far Reggie Jackson aint cuttin in.
