These according to experts are the top 10 free agents,



#1) David Price (LHP) 30 years old went 18-5 last season with a 2.45 ERA (220 IP) while earning $19M

#2) Zack Greinke (RHP) 32 years old expected to opt out. Went 19-3 with a leage leading 1.66 ERA in 222 IP Made #25M this past season.

#3) Yoenis Cespedes 30 year old left fielder 35/105/291 while earning $10.5M

#4) Johnny Cueto 30 yr old RHP, 11-13 3.44 ERA in 212 IP. Made $10M in 2015

#5) Justin Upton 28 year old rt handed hitting OF, 26/81/251 Made $14.5M in 2015

#6) Chris Davis 30 yr old LH bat, plays 1B, 3B & RF. 47/117/262 Struck out 208 times. Made $12M in 2015

#7) Jayson Heyward 26 yr old LH bat OF, 13/60/293 Made $7.8M in 2015

#8) Jordon Zimmermann RHP 30 yrs old, 13-10 3.66 ERA 201 IP, Made $16.5M in 2015

...Greinke would be nice but I think the Dodgers will resign him.

...other than that, the only player that interests me and that would be a great signing would be Heyward. (I'm going on the assumption that gardner may be moved)

I like Heyward along with his age & salary BUT.........I might lean more toward Upton.

And Greinke will be opting out of 3 years & $72M so you just know he'll be looking for something in the neighborhood of 5 years & 30M per. Just ridiculous.
 
I hear you but the Yankees need a strong RH bat.

And can you imagine how many HRs someone like Davis would hit with that short RF porch? But he's a strike out machine & no place to play him.

...yeah, no way on Davis...Upton strikes out way to often too...I like Heyward better because of his age, cost, defense, base running, and at least for this past year, a better OPS than Upton.

...still think Judge will make an impact.

...but meh, I doubt the Yanx get either.
