I want to compile a list from the members points of views the top 100 songs. I don't know if you guys are up for this...but if you are, let's start from 1 to 100. This will be a good reference later for people - plus I want to compile these songs on a cd or something. We'll take this down in 10's. This will take a while...but we can do it.Let's do it!Group 1:1. NY State of Mind - Nas2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.Top 10! List em!

Nas - Nas is LikeNas - The MessagePete Rock & CL Smooth - They Reminisce Over YouIn no order, just songs that are definitely top 10. You can also add Dead Presidents by Jay on there.

^All 3 are great songs, but only I reminsce Over You is one that I'd even consider for top 20 all time.My top 10, in no order:A Tribe Called Quest- Can I Kick It?NWA- Straight Outta ComptonNas- NY State of MindSnoop Dogg- Gin and JuiceJay-Z featuring Biggie- Brooklyn's Finest2Pac- Hit 'Em UpOutkast- AqueminiNotorious BIG- JuicyCommon- The LightWu Tang Clan- Triumph

new york state of mind is the best rap song ever created. the last 99 don't even matter.

TROY is an amazing song, arguably top 10. And NY State of Mind not being top 10, PLEASE.Stan is an ok song, top 10? Most definitely not..

Putting it in top 20 all time, which I agree with, is a HUGE honor. No one else here puts in in their top 10...so no one her except you knows hip hop, right? And I put NY State of Mind in my top 10....Stan is a GREAT song. EXTREMELY unique, fantastic production, good lyrics, great story....IMO Eminem's best. Heh, I'm arguing with a guy who thinks Nas Is Like is the greatest song ever made....EDIT: Crap, I forgot Straight Outta Compton in my top 10. Fixed.

Nas is like, Is a really really great song.. IMO not the best ever made but a very exeptional song. Your list is not very good either but hey why listen too me? I just live rap, ha.1

And Stan being top 10 is just roflmfao to say the least. Dude, your list is weak as hell. It looks more like your favorite 10 songs. Triumph isn't even Wu's best song, C.R.E.A.M gets that honor. Gin N Juice a top 10 song? I think that says enough.Nas is Like has an amazing beat and Nas rips it apart, yet for some reason you are completely biased against the song.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No one else here puts in in their top 10...so no one her except you knows hip hop, right? Stan is OK but not great... at all.His Top ten looks like he just went on his latest playlist and put the first few songs on it.Here's my top ten...Defenetly NO order.Faces Of Death - Papoose.Ether - NasHell 4 A Hulsta - TuPacAlphebetical Slaughter - Papoose.Nas is like - NasHip Hop is Dead - NasBridging the Gap LP Version - NasGo To War - Papoose ft. AkonBiggie And Jay-Z - Brooklyns FinestChanges - TuPac.NY State Of mind - NasIMO those are the best songs around. I didn't think TOO deep into it but I just took the ones that are most memorable without actually looking at any of my songs and those are all incredable songs.

The lyrics on Nas Is Like is good, but I feel at the very least 3 songs on Illmatic are better lyrically (those being NY State of Mind, Halftime, and Life's a Bi*ch). Stan is a fantastic song, the most unique Eminem has ever done, and IMO his best produced song.Yes, I am listing my favorite 10 songs. If it isn't one of my favorites, then I don't think it is one of the best, do I? Gin and Juice is Snoop's best song IMO. I like a few Wu Tang songs better than C.R.E.A.M.I am a HUGE Nas fan, but I just don't like Nas Is Like. It's a good song, but the lyrics aren't his best, and Premier and Nas just don't go together. Again, just my opinion, and I'm not alone as a LOT of people don't like Premier. You said I don't know hip hop because I don't like a few songs that you love and you don't agree with my list. It's all opinion.
