1. Big L/2pac
2. 2pac/Big L
3. Nas
4. Eminem
5. Biggie

I put Big L/2pac twice because I can't choose between them 2 for my favorite. I definitely listen to Big L the most lately, but at the same time I know Pac was the greatest.

1. Big L2. Rakim3. GZA (Wu Tang)4. Nas5. Notorious B.I.G.And do you really like Papoose that much CelticBalla? I'm not dissing you or anything, this is an opinion question, but what makes you put him in the top 5 ahead of some other guys?

Oh my god. This is why I hate making lists lol. I always forget someone important. I listen to Nas the 3rd most and I put Papoose over him on ths list? I apologize, and I must say, I listen to a lot of Nas and he is #4 best of all time, #3 on my list (updated). Wow.

1. Big L2. Nas3. Biggie4. Papoose5. RakimEminem top 5?! You can't be serious...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Eminem top 5?! You can't be serious...</div>Eminem is not top 5, he's borderline top 10. He's def. better than Papoose tho (lyrically at least, rap is not all about lyrics)

I've always thought James Hetfield to be underrated. Listen to Fade to Black, One, Master of Puppets, and you see Metallica wasn't just a riff band. Hetfield wrote some solid lyrics for them, ones that are embedded in Metal fans' brains

Hetfield is a great song writer but a lot of people think that was their downfall, that the lyrics to their music was soft. U agree?

1.2Pac2.Eminem3.Nas4.Notorious B.I.G.5.Kanye WestRemember this list is MY favorites, not who is the all-time best. Granted, if it was an all-time great it wouldnt look like this.

In their early days, they had aggresive songs (Battery, Fight Fire With Fire, Blackened) as well as softer ones (One, Sanitarium, Fade to Black), I do agree taht eventually, the lyrics got horrible, starting with Load

After a while, every song was lyrically and musically similar to 'Nothing Else Matters'

Well I don't think they were THAT soft, but the lyrics did stink. The music was also way too experimental

^You think they sold out after watching their "experiment" sell 20 million records or w.e it was?

I'll give ten, no order...1. KRS-One2. Biggie3. Immortal Technique4. Rakim5. Big L6. Tupac7. Talib Kweli8. Mos Def9. Nas10. Eyedea

well i barely got into rap over a year ago when i first heard chamillionaire, and i don't listen to east coast rappers, i keep it southern, and we don't have very lyrical artist down here so...chamillionairet.i.lil waynez-rok-rino
