Wu-Tang doesn't exist anymore... they just recently all decided to get together on a tour. All of Wu's members are on there own, Raekwon, Ghostface, GZA, Method and everyone else is now a solo artist. My top 5 MC's all time.KRS-One - RakimNasIce CubeChuck DScarface deserves a spot on there to, he was one of the best ever. I would throw in a explanation for each one but I'm limited on time now and don't feel like writting an essay on why there the best.

because hip-hop heads like myself don't see Tupac as lyricist..he had a huge impact on the rap game but honestly he was nothing special lyrically..he just had catchy songs with messages and good beats/flowhip-hop heads look for Lyrics mainly

Tupac is a top 20 MC, meaning there are 19 others who are better. He dropped maybe 1 classic album? That is nothing against KRS 5-6, Rakim's 3 and Nas 3.

Since when is someone a deuch bag for not liking the same music as you. I like Chamillionaire. He's isn't one of my favorite rappers but I like some of his music just like a lot of other people. Does that make me a closet homo?

And because Tupac isn't as lyrical as guys like Wutang and Eminem,he is still a better rapper. Not to mention 2pac is the greatest selling hip hop artists of all time.Tupac may not have been an influence on rap itself but he was a huge influence to the people that listen to his songs. The messages he puts in his songs are greater than any lyrical line in any song. That's complete bullsh** having guys like Big Pun and Biggie Smalls over pac.I understand where you are coming from with Big Pun because he was as amazing lyricist.Biggie had alot of great songs but not many that influenced hip hop fans. Why? Because Biggie's songs were based on being a player and partying. He had occasional songs such as "Juicy" and "Everyday Struggle" but based on his image and albums etc. he really is not a better rapper than 2pac.I put Biggie on my list because he deserves a spot but Big Pun is not better than pac in any way besides using flashy lyrics.By the way tupac was not as bad a lyricist that you make him out to be,he's not the best lyrically but better in every other aspect.Tupac is not a lyricist but a poet.I don't consider Tupac the greatest rapper of all time but he at least deserves a spot over rappers like biggie and pun.

I'm not saying Dre is better then Cube but there alot lots of rappers who don't write there own lyrics. Oh and Kanye didn't even fully produce Late Registration, the orchestration came from Jon Brion.

Downside of living in PR, I can only listen to the mainstream hip hop...basically the only rappers that get to MTV :dunno:

In no particular order my favorite artists along with my favorite album.1. Nas - Illmatic2. Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt3. Mos Def - Black on Both Sides4. GZA - Liquid Swords5. Talib Kweli - BlackStarWade23 - Black on Both Sides is my top five album! I used to listen to it like everyday, still is on heavy rotation on mp3 player, but I prefer the BlackStar album alot better. I will always listen to it. I know its not really hiphop, more r&b but Lauryn Hill is defnititley up there on my list of all time.

1. DMX2. Fler3. Jay-Z4. Nas5. EminemThats the T5 thats best to listen to.

I'm just saying no need to say that sh*t because he doesn't listen to the rap for the lyrics or meaning. And if liking someone like Chamillionaire makes me a closet homo I'm sorry that I'm not as cool as you are because I don't listen to rap just for lyrics. Yout ake this to seriously. Will yuo grow up and stop overreacting on something so stupid? Especially calling someone ignorant for not knowign what a hip hop head is because I know more people don't know what that is compared to people who do.

Illmatic is probably the closest thing to perfection, that album alone makes Nas my favourite. From the genesis to it aint hard to tell, the thing keeps you buzzed. One love or memory lane are my favourites.Anyways here is my list1- Nas2- Jay-z3- Common4- The roots5- Talib kweli

Illmatic is the best solo album ever to me, man I bump that album every day. But I think It takes A nation of a million to hold us down is the best album of all time, Public Enemy are the best political rappers ever. BTW, props on Common, hes one of the best out right now and Be is my winner for best album of 2005.
