I really can’t believe they let Volpe bat again. Grisham has made it easy to let him walk.

Geez...the Jays coach made a great move by throwing SIX relievers (LHed and RHed) at the Yanx instead of a starter and the relievers have completely stifled the Yanx. Meanwhile Boone stubbornly starts Volpe and Grisham who've been terrible and there's also no reason why those players can't be substituted for after the game starts. He also still thinks highly of Devin f'n Williams.

Even if you think Boone is not at fault, you cannot deny that between the 2, the Jays coach has clearly done the better job. I can explain it for you but I cannot understand it for you.

Who is going to replace volpe and Grisham?
Jazz makes the play and its 2 to 1 still...


Yankee batters, again, have no ability to hit for contact..that is not on the manager.
 
Blame Boone for not getting a double play..obvious its his fault volpe couldn't turn it..just like jazz did earlier

Boone makes out the line up card. Caballero is a better all-around player than Volpe. Slide Bellinger to CF Dominguez can play LF and Rice could DH.


I'll ask again, between the 2, which coach has done the better job tonight? If you think it's Boone, it's laughable...if you admit it's Schneider, well it means Boone is getting "out-coached" tonight.

Dominguez doesn't make that catch that Bollinger did...and what would have been the post...how can you have a defensive liability in a sudden death game...

You didn't answer the fact the jays blew a huge lead last game..why isn't Schneider fault since its so easy to blame a manager?

Ill agree that Cashman hasn't produced the players to win in the playoffs...too many one dimensional hitters and its been this way since Giambi days..

But no..ill stand on my box to say Boone wasn't the reason this team loses this series
 
For the most part nobody has hit except Judge.

Oh well, I can't really say I'm all that disappointed, because as I've said many times, "the Yanx are NOT built for the PS". They hit a bunch of HRs and beat up on the weaker teams but come up short vs our division rivals and in the PS.

Edit; left out the word "NOT".
