The Austin Toros (21-14) used a big fourth quarter to oust the Iowa Energy 97-95 in a game that was televised on Fox Sports Southwest Thursday evening at Cedar Park Center. Austin stuck with it taking the lead for the first time of the game with three minutes remaining. Toros coach Taylor Jenkins adjusted the defense in the fourth quarter and the Toros were able to outscore Iowa 29-19 on the period. Spurs assignee Aron Baynes, who was limited by early foul trouble, anchored the comeback for the Toros with 12 points in the fourth.

Baynes finished with a team high 16 points and nine rebounds in his third appearance as a Toro. JaMychal Green was able to provide the team with his eighth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Roberts added 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots. Tre Kelley received the start at point guard contributing 15 points and six assists.

The Energy (7-29) lost to the Toros for the fifth time this season. Iowa guard Chris Wright led the way for his team with a game-high 33 points and seven assists. Jarrid Famous finished with a double-double at 14 points and 13 rebounds. Paul Harris contributed 15 points, eight assists and two blocked shots for the Energy.
