The Japan Golf Tour’s Toshin Tournament at the Toshin Lakewood Resort has completed 36 holes and 25 year old Taigen Tsumugari, courtesy of a second round of 64, has opened up a one shot lead over Kiyoshi Miyazato.
In his fourth season on the Japan Golf Tour Tsumugari has yet to win but, against this slightly weaker field, has created a very good opportunity to do just that this weekend.
The surprise of the event to date was that the defending champion and leading ranked player in the field, Yuta Ikeda, missed the cut.
