So, from where did I copy/paste the information that I posted? Please share. Do you know of a different biography about Obama? Or, are you just pulling stuff out of your asshole, and then posting it on this board about what I know/don't know?

Answer these questions in a yes/no manner.

1) Was his grandmother made a VP of the Bank of Hawaii in 1970?
2) Did Obama go to private schools from 5th grade until he got his J.D. at Harvard?
3) Did you work for a large law-firm in Chicago upon graduation from Harvard Law?

You can even cut/paste the answers, if you need to do so. Based on what appears to be your limited grasp of Barry's upbringing, it might actually help.

So we're taking one letter (hello, small number statistics!) from someone who never voted for Obama (and possibly never liked him), who lives in predominately republican Texas to have some greater meaning? Seems like an approval poll (which are admittedly not ideal for Obama) would have more info than that letter.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that blue states generally have higher income/fewer welfare recipients per cap than the red states. This is funny to me. I've disagreed with many people's politics and political beliefs, and have never felt like I'd be ok when that person dies because of it. And yet he's the one causing the division? That's just some bullshit. If you disagree with a person to where there death isn't a big deal, you divided yourself a long time ago.

I was going to set aside the conversation on how one may or may not be effected by the passing of another, but you seem to make much of it that i did not. The quote is "I know of many that would not weep at his death" No where did I say that I wished that upon him as you implied, but rather was meant to impart my total lack of concern for the guy. Why should i care about him?

I will quote another statement of yours " he's the one causing the division? That's just some bullshit" I do not understand how you can feel this way, as it has been well documented that he ran two presidential campaigns as well as dozens of town hall road stops to promote his desires, all based upon division.

What are these facts you keep talking about when are you going to post some? Us low informed voters want to know. Please tell us about Obummer and all his follies, for he is our dear leader. right?
 
I don't think Obama is extraordinarily divisive. The way I look at it, politics in our country continues to get more polarized and the winner in any election will be viewed as divisive by fans of the loser. To anyone leaning left, Bush was incredibly divisive. Right leaners thought he was lovable and wanted to drink beers with him. Same thing in reverse now.

I'd like to see more moderates who are willing to work outside party affiliations, but redistricting seems to lead to the most extreme candidates getting elected. A lefty incumbent city council member in Seattle just lost an election to a socialist. In a heavy Republican district, you get tea party members elected. In heavy Democratic Seattle, a socialist. I'd love to see districts that are 50/50, so the best middle of the road candidate gets elected. Maybe things would actually get done.
 
Can we convene one of those ObamaCare death panels and put the ACA out of our misery once and for all?

I don't think he's divisive either. He's not very good at either coercing or working with republicans.

I've said it more than once. Clinton was able to get things done with republican house and senate. And they were so out to get him they impeached him.
 
I don't know, I think the political scene has gotten a lot more polarized since Clinton. Short of some horrible unifying event like 9/11, I have a hard time believing anyone would be able to get the other party to play ball.

How much more polarized can you get than having the congress out to get the president via impeachment?

I was always impressed with how Clinton seemed to be able to threaten republicans with dire consequences if they didn't act. He controlled the PR. Obama has a friendly press, too, so he controls the PR.

Clinton never did the "my way or the highway" thing. He never sought to exclude republicans from deliberation on his agenda. That's the difference.

I think it's a sort of tone deafness.

Super smart guy repeating failed strategies as if he'll get a different result this time.
