Damian Lillard on his return to Portland: “I expect it to be a lot of love, honestly. I’ve always had a great relationship with the city and a great relationship with the fans. I don’t see that changing at all. We had a lot of great times, a lot of high moments, and we’ve shared some low moments. We was always in the fight. We always had sell out crowds, and I showed up and did what I needed to do, every night. I was never a no show, whether I played good or I played bad. In the community, I was present in the city — not just on the floor. That’s why it is what it is when I come here. That’s why this is my home. I expect it to be a lot of love.”
