Yep, credit to the Dodgers, they have a solid infield and outfield that can hit and catch the baseball. Pitching staff will fare better for those reasons.
 
Were I to grad Cashmans actions for this trading period I'd go with a D+ at this time that could change depending on the performance of the "new" guys.
 
Austin for Lynn might be a good move since the Yanks were/are top heavy in some areas. But Imo Lynn's unlikely the answer, probably another Garcia.
Trashmans grasping & still lacks a SP, who can come in- Slam doors, win games and provide leadership; while instantly boosting the SP staff. Looks more like he thinks Bullpens are supposed to carry the game.

Yankees shop wisely on international market

Signed right-hander Osiel Rodriguez, ranked No. 9 on MLB Pipeline's Top 30 International Prospects list, for $600,000.

The club was also active Tuesday, signing shortstop Alexander Vargas for $2.5 million.

In addition to Vargas and Rodriguez, the club signed outfielder Kevin Alcantara, ranked No. 11, for $1 million, catcher Antonio Gomez, ranked No. 11, for $600,000, and pitcher Denny Larrondo, ranked No. 29, for $550,000.
