I've watched a lot of Wes since he's been a Maverick....no thank youWes Matthews?
Maybe for the Trade Exemption.
It doesn't help Bucks much IMO. Middleton is a better fit for them than CJ and a more versatile player (not to mention a good defender) and 2019 first won't get them a better player than Jabari.
Utah will want to get rid of wings, not add them although letting Rubio leave might be an incentive, he has not been good.
In other words you just want to trade our junk and get something good out of it?trading Davis would be a HUGE mistake. If management wants to build a winning team without paying for it...... then they are living in a dream world. Davis makes stuff happen on the floor. He is ONE OF the most valuable pieces coming off the bench that the Blazers have IMO.
Vonleh needs to play more. He is good but too far down the list with Davis and Collins and Aminu ahead of him to get in the game much. Sadly, he is probably tradable.
Turner is growing on me cuz when he does that turnaround jumper.... it mostly goes in. Still, he is just on the edge of the trade offerings in my book too.
Trade Leonard.
Trade Mo.
Keep the rest as it looks to me like they are just starting to find the chemistry and having some fun ballin.
And for heavens sake DON"T TAKE ON SOME GUY WITH A HUGE CONTRACT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!
The guy we vastly overpay and who can only shoot contested turnaround fadeaway midrange shots is growing on you ?

Milwaukee needs scoring (although I think it’s mostly Kidd that is the problem) and I think CJ is the better pure scorer. I don’t think Milwaukee has any desire to sign Jabari to a contract this summer so getting a 1st for him is a good way to get out of that. We could also add Aminu in this deal.
Utah needs a PG and if they strike out on Kemba then Napier might be their best option, he’s every bit as good as Hood IMO. This package for them is essentially a way to get rid of some guys they dont want to pay with no real future on the roster while adding some building blocks for a rebuild. Napier, Mitchell, Gobert and some picks is a good starting point for them. Taking back Rubio is a big favor, he’s been really bad, and Hood is a RFA who has been up and down and seemingly unhappy.
hood didn't play tonight against clipps, nothing in injury reportYes I have been proposing the Hood deal myself, I just don't think all the other elements in that deal are necessary. We can get him by sending Napier and maybe a second (Hood's value is IMO higher). Harkless for Rubio in that deal is needless, as is Swanigan.
Utah could get better deals though. I won't be surprised if they do something like Hood, Rubio and change for Walker and Lamb. They are also looking to trade Favors so maybe they will even package them both to get someone better, sometimes it is hard to figure out what deals are realistic though.

Apparently interested in Leonard, they're rebuilding, would get two other young pieces who have shown promise in Harkless and Vonleh for old expiring veterans. Why would Dallas do that?
Get outta here with that crap
One of the worst trade offers anyone on s2 has ever come up with.

Wes played the best game I've seen him play last night as a Maverick....I think the cheers in Portland gave him a lot of energyBump

I was a huge fan of his....after watching him play multiple games without scoring more than a few points I've changed that tune....don't know his stats but he's not playing very well most games ....I watch former Blazers when I get a chance...Nico...same thingMatthews’ numbers this season pretty much fall in line with the rest of his career. He’s shooting over 38% from outside on over 6 attempts a game. You’ve hinted at a regression this year but the numbers don’t really back it up. I just don’t see how he wouldn’t help us.
Of course. Don't you?In other words you just want to trade our junk and get something good out of it?
