I read this as meaning they were going to do it yesterday evening. I see now that it is a typo probably and he meant he was doing it today.
I had to go look up exactly when the trade deadline actually was. I honestly was not sure so it caught me off guard.

Trade deadline was yesterday at 3pm. He did a recap after 4 when it was over. Oh, you thought the deadline was today.

I've been trying to figure out Olshey's moves this deadline. On the surface, it seems completely illogical. We have a full rotation and we traded 3 guys who don't play for 1 guy that is around as good as players he'll be taking minutes from, and another who has a lot of potential, and probably deserves minutes but won't get them. We now have a superstar, 2 stars, 10 good players, and a player who's not ready but has huge upside (Simons). We clearly needed to trade several of our good players for a third star.

Why did we do that? The only reason I can guess is that Olshey still thinks we're in the "asset acquisition phase" (i.e. we suck). Of course, an alternate theory is that Olshey "has no balls" as suggested by the thread of the same name.

A third theory is the one I often say, that Olshey lacks the talent to make a consolidation trade.

Why is it a rivals thing? The more good content the better IMO. Sharing is good.

Live does take a little more to set up. There are also things that are nicer for the listener/viewer if they are at least slightly edited or cleaned up.

Yeah I know about editing and cleaning up audio and all that. I do a lot of that with my own.
