Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Kings still shopping Jimmer Fredette, unable to find deal for him so far, league sources tell Yahoo. A 2014 second-round pick could get him.

Sam Amick @sam_amick
Nothing close yet on Andre Miller front, I'm told, but Minnesota, Washington in lead to land Denver PG who so badly wants a relocation.

I love how forum fans every year are convinced that because they can run random stuff through a trade machine, the random things should happen and if they don't the GM is sitting on his hands doing nothing. There is a reason most teams don't make trades at the deadline and it's not lack of effort or cognitive ability. I guarantee at some point today a trade will happen for a guy like Hawes, Asik or big baby and people in here will convince themselves we could have made a better offer and therefore olshey is a bum of a GM. Of course they will ignore how much better this team has gotten under his tenure and how little he had to work with.

Philadelphia has traded Spencer Hawes to Cleveland, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Philadelphia will receive two second round picks from Cavs for Hawes, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Well shit. Olshey sold all his 2nd rounders already.

We traded our second rounders into the afterlife.

They got him on the cheap.

So Deng and Hawes bolt this summer.

What are they thinking?

Philly has to add salary as it is to meet the minimum. Cleveland is over the cap and has no trade exception. A player from Cleveland is involved as well.

There are expiring contracts involved in the Hawes deal, trying to lock those down now.

Spencer Davies @SpinDaviesCST
Cavs calling LAC about Zeller. Now @ESPNSteinLine saying that Washington is trying to talk to Cavs about Deng. #PhonesOnFire #DeadlineDay

David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Per source, CLE will also send forward Earl Clark to Philly along w/ 2 seconds for Hawes. Yahoo! reported Hawes would be going to Cleveland.

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
It's believed Pierre Jackson's reported deal w/Fenerbahce in Turkey has NBA out 'til Friday. Might allow him to stay if Pels find deal today

Good thing we used two 2nd rounders on Allan Crabbe. :sigh:

deng would be a perfect fit in washington. That would make them the 3rd best team by far in the east imo

There's no traction with Detroit or Washington on a Luol Deng deal, sources say. Cavs continuing to explore options.

Phoenix, too, has resisted Cleveland's efforts to secure a first-round pick for Deng, who will be unrestricted after the season.

Have you looked at Ariza's stats this year? He's playing really good. Not sure they need to rent Deng for the rest of the season.

Otto Porter and Anthony Bennett on the same team would be entertaining.

The tank is strong in Cleveland.

Sacramento has agreed to acquire Roger Mason Jr. from the Heat, but is expected to waive him, league source says. #howu

Our lack of picks and liquid assets is reminiscent of the Knicks. Not a good place to be when we're only one or two moves away from serious contention. This might delay our window a bit.

Sure they don't need to but it wouldn't hurt. Deng is better than Ariza and then Ariza is better than the bench guy so it makes the whole tema better

I'm eagerly awaiting BGD's post-deadline meltdown.
