Could somebody change the name of the thread to "Sudden flurry of trades"? Sounds way cooler.

[Edit: close enough. Thanks!]

[But if there's more, you have to keep adding the team names...]

Not a problem!

Number 12 pick for George Hill...teams really are not valuing picks that high this year. Plumdog should be able to get something similar if we decided to go that route.
Might be able to land us #9 from Toronto. He'd be a cheap Biyombo replacement.

Sounds great, because we'd have a ton of cap space!
And the perfect 3rd guard off the bench. Crabbe slides to SF and we will certainly sign a big to replace Plumlee.

I have a feeling there's gonna be something centered around Plumlee to Toronto for #9 though. They don't need a young rookie and they'll need a Biyombo replacement. Plumlee doesn't break the bank and allows them to sign elsewhere. I think we could move up from #9 easily after that, just depends on what Olshey wants to do.

Sabonis would be in play possibly at #9.

Fuckin NBA man. No other sport like this.

The finals ended two days ago and we already have a flurry of trade activity.

Draft follows this draman, and then free agency nonsense for most of July with Summer League on the way. Olympics in AUG/SEP, and then we're already in training camp.

Crazy.

I think Portland trades for the 7th or 8th and goes after Bender or Chriss

Just heard a report that Utah will be trading Hayward to Boston for the #3 plus Smart AND Bradley.

MASSIVE overpay.
