Forget the big names--Jermaine O'Neal and the like, they're too expensive--in terms of salary and what we have to give up..

Rod Thorn had some success with some cheaply-priced talent--Mikki Moore and Aaron Williams. This year Malik Allen doesn't seem to cut it. So why not throw in some expiring contracts and maybe even next year's 1st round pick for someone like Nick Collison or other midlevel-priced big man? Is there someone available?

In our dream, why would Seattle give up Collison? wouldnt mind taking Wilcox from them.

I wouldn't mind Collison. Or Wilcox. Both would be better than what we've got.

i'd trade Collins, Mag and Malik for Wilcox. damn, only if we could get rid of the shit we have upfront and get a young guy like Cox.

Because Seattle is the basketball equivalent of the Cleveland Indians in "Major League": A franchise intentionally trying to lose with the worst possible players in order to move to a new city. I truly believe that.

We don't have to trade for one there is a free agent by the name of Chris Webber, let me add his familiar with the princeton offense plus can knock down mid-range shots. Defensively, we have lived with Collins on the D so we so can suck it up with a one legged guy

Nice mediocre players being tossed around here. Neither one would make this team that better, especially because we'd have to give up players to get them.

We have 5 guaranteed contracts locked up into big men...webber would kill this team.

what we need is a delorean gun it to 88 and draft Danny Granger instead of Antione Wright.

Wilcox would be a great fit on this team...I'd throw Malik into the mix too if they wanted.

We've already tried trading for Wilcox before, Seattle wouldn't budge.

you think Wilcox is a mediocre player?

face facts, the guy is a big who dunks STRONG and can catch the ball. if we were trying to win, Id have given up a first rounder years ago (23rd pick) to pair him with kidd and still draft Marcus.

LA wouldn't budge in sending Bynum over, but we tried to acquire Wilcox a season or two ago and they were not having it.

I don't think Wilcox is the answer, especially since we'd have to give up players to acquire him. As you said, he's a guy who can finish strong and catch lobs. We already have one of those in Williams and we don't have to lose any players to get him.

Hakim Warrick would be fun. But he ain't that great defensively in the NBA...unless we play a zone =D

I think giving up big men for wilcox would be a solution...having 6 big men for two spots is just to confusing for Lawrence Frank...better to just have Boone, Williams Collins, and 1 more big.

Bynum for Sean Williams swap

Speaking of Ike, help me remember, who was it that was convinced he was the man? I think it was run, but my memory is fading.

I always thought he was pretty good, just never given the opportunity. But then he actually was given the opportunity in Indiana, and it turns out he actually does suck.

Harrington and Swift are borderline retarded, they wouldn't last 5 minutes here with Frank.

and Smith and Hermann are pretty unattainable...and I suspect Villanueva is as well.

Let's make a run at Pachulia. We could add him to the list of injury-prone players!

never really watched him play, but what do you think about Diaw?

Diaw's deficiencies as a power forward are masked by the monster center next to him. He's a Phoenix Suns PF , not a PF by NBA standards. He's not very aggressive. For what the Suns need at the position, defender, KMart type, Diaw is not the answer. He needs the ball in his hand to succeed, he's almost like a facilitator, move the ball around.
