Pryzbilla, Blake and Mills

for

Jamison

realgm.com approved.

This gives Washington two expiring contracts (Joel and Blake) and provides them with a young PG in Mills (who I really like, but with Bayless' play this year - I see no playing time in the near future for Patty)

I like what Jamison can bring to the team - he becomes an instant go-to guy, behind Roy - - taking some pressure off LA from being the number 2 go-to guy.

And I think Jamison could stick with this team too.

Add Outlaw to this trade and bring back Washington's Oberto! (also realgm.com approved)

This takes care of our expiring contracts and bolsters our PF/C situation without hurting us at all.

Nice. But for the last time, Joel is not expiring.

I know that Joel is not an expiring (my bad). I meant to say that if you add Outlaw to the trade scenario, you then take care of our expiring contracts (Blake/Outlaw).

Joel has another year, then he's gone. Will he play next year? Who knows - I for one doubt it. But throwing in Joel's contract along with Blake - gets us a means by which to trade for Jamison of Washington.

If Joel plays next year - then Washington has a Center (after trading Haywood!) and then they can let Joel expire or re-sign him if he's back playing well. Joel is solid (when healthy) and might be a nice addition to the Wizzards?

If Joel opts in (which he certainly would) then he's due about 7 million dollars, the Wiz are going to want dollar for dollar expiring contracts to match up with Jamison's salary (like Big Z from Cleveland or Camby from the Clipps) there's no way they are going to want his caphold weighing them down in this summer's free agency period
