That's not a good enough trade for Toronto. Parker is their captain, their best defender and one of their most consistent players. Trading him, not to mention Ford, who despite his shortcomings is a decent point guard and Bargnani, who despite a weak sophomore season has a lot of potential and will be a solid starter in this league for years to come, for RJ (who seems to be on the decline and isn't that much better than Parker anyway), Williams (who has yet to prove himself in this league) and a late draft pick, is not a move they'll make.

To me everyone is giving and taken away which makes for a good trade. We give RJ and M will and young Sean for A great power forward. Lets do it!

RJ isn't that much better than Parker? What RJ are you watching? RJ definitely is better than Parker.

I do agree Toronto gets shafted (even though Bargnani isn't worth much, neither is Ford with his messed up spine) though

Parker's damn underrated, he's that good.

RJ really isn't that much better than him.

I don't see the Clippers trading Brand away, just yet. He was hurt all year. I think they feel like, if healthy, they've finally got a team that can compete.

Parker is the better shooter, defender, leader, teammate and he performs in the clutch consistently. RJ may be the better all around scorer, but he's really just around Parker's level. Ask any Raptors fan how important Parker is to their team.

Parker's only negative is that he'll be 33 next season.

Even considering that, I'd rather have him on my team than RJ.

I think if I were a GM, I would only make this deal if I were running the Nets.

I would NOT trade Brand, and I would not trade for the Nets' garbage.
