Well, logically if I think someone is underrated, then it follows that the majority would think I'm overvaluing him. My hope, though, would be to get what I perceive his ability to be, at a cost commensurate with how others view him.even though I think you are overvaluing Lamb still.
I'm on board - how?Defense?
Get Frank Ntilikina.
You really underrate Brown then. I'm sure they'd give up Tatum if they had to.Zach’s ceiling is higher than Browns. Brown hasn’t really shown potential to be anything more than a role player.

PER is so overrated, and once again you avoid proper context tot try to make a point... A big part of his value is defense, which isn't captured by PER. He also wasn't good as a rookie (like most players), and hasn't been good this year because hes been given a diminished role from the jump. He's also barely 22 years old, so a lot of it is betting on potential. For a rebuilding team, hes a much better option than CJ or Zach.Brown has a PER of 11.9 through his first 160+ games with a negative BPM in every season and a VORP of 0.1. You’re overrating him. Zach is out producing him this season and plays a more premium position, which New Orleans would be more interested in this theoretical trade anyway since they’d be losing AD.

And then that SAC pick is a better asset than either as well.
His size puts him or Dame at a real disadvantage on defense.I think the scary thing is if CJ really wanted to more of a team Player and rack up assists instead of jacking up contested shots he would be a perfect fit for this team.
And then AD leaves and we have to trade Dame and then we're Brooklyn and were rebuilding for the next decade.Trade CJ, Zach, 3 firsts and the right to swap the other firsts over the next 6 seasons for Anthony Davis and filler.
Overvalued raw box stats, and doesnt value defense beyond steals and blocks, so stat-chasers (like Russ) or defenders who gamble a lot get rewarded much more than they should. It’s funny how you ignore stats when it’s someone you like and just put the blame on anything but the player. You shit all over Harrison Barnes yet the numbers show he’s always been the better overall player.
How is PER overrated? I could see the argument if it’s someone with limited minutes. But it captures a players worth relatively well.
Please show me where I've ever used PER as a stat. It’s funny how you ignore stats when it’s someone you like and just put the blame on anything but the player. You shit all over Harrison Barnes yet the numbers show he’s always been the better overall player.

AD stays to play with Dame and we're a contender for years. We would have the rest of this season and all of next season to show him why he'd want to stay. I like that you think we're getting the bad end of this trade, that means that maybe NOLA would be down. And then AD leaves and we have to trade Dame and then we're Brooklyn and were rebuilding for the next decade.
Ehhhh, I don't know. Didn't say I wouldn't do it.AD stays to play with Dame and we're a contender for years. Ariza is not better than Aminu and makes twice as much. He's barely starter quality. What's the point? On Bleacher report they suggested trading Moe wade and a future 2nd for Ariza. What do you guys think?

They need a point guard who can defend and play Next to booker, Harkless also gives them some Defense, which they desperately need. Thats a good trade imoOn Bleacher report they suggested trading Moe wade and a future 2nd for Ariza. What do you guys think?
I would do that, but not for on court reasons. It would really help our situation this summer if we can clear one, two, or all three of the Turner, Leonard, and Harkless contracts. On Bleacher report they suggested trading Moe wade and a future 2nd for Ariza. What do you guys think?
Well, Ariza is better than Aminu. But I agree that there's no point to obtaining him - he's not better enough to (a) make a difference or (b) justify the cost.
Yes he is. He signed a one year deal for $15 million.Isn't Ariza an expiring contract?
I took this from another thread because I wanted to mention a couple of players. The first is that Vonleh in theory would be an excellent fit on the 2nd unit with Zach as that backup 4. Oh well can't change that now.My only hope is Meyers has increased his trade value sufficiently that we can trade him for a solid back-up 4 so Zach can move to the back up center role he seems best suited to play (in theory).
They loss 4 of the last 6 games Layman had started, so the downward spiral had all ready started with him in the starting line up.I think we need to trade Harkless for Layman. We’ve looked bad since Mo has been back. Not saying he’s the sole cause, but I liked out look better with Jake. Maybe they’re doing this to show teams that Mo’s knee is healthy before they trade him.
"The Knicks are discussing multiple trade scenarios for Frank Ntilikina - source says talks have made “the next step” with two teams from the Western Conference."
