Do it. Our bench needs a guy that can actually put the ball in the basket. I’d love to find out whether his struggles are physical or situation based. The downside is so minimal.

Solomon Hill and Brandon Knight, they both have 2 years left on really bad deals.

Both are expiring contracts next year. Not much different than Portland with Meyers/Turner/Moe. Neither team is a threat to win anything either, so what’s the rush? Not like Parker would be a fit in either place anyway.

I agree that it's stupid to do but teams do it anyway. Milwaukee just gave up a 1st and a 2nd to do something similar. Denver gave up multiple picks last summer including a 1st to ditch guys that only had one year left.

Well if it happens whatever. I hope it’s not us. But if he’s bought out, we should be all over it.

So what are you doing with Aminu after this wasted season? Re-signing him to a big deal?
The season isn't over. Yes it has been disappointing, but not a failure. The bench has been the biggest disappointment, BY FAR. Chief hasn't earned a BIG DEAL, but I think a fair deal wouldn't be a bad thing.

He's not good. Doesnt pass, doesnt defend, underachieves as a rebounder, doesnt hit 3s, is inefficient in general. With all that being said, he's also being misplayed as a SF when hes a PF.

In RPM, hes 430th out of... wait for it... 430 players. His BPM is a -4.1. To say hes been terrible for Chicago is an understatement.

He wasn't terrible in Milwaukee, and Chicago is a dumpster fire.

There is only two scenarios where I'd be okay giving up a 1st right now in a salary dump type trade:

1) It's part of a series of trades or one big trade that results in us clearing all 3 of Turner, Leonard, and Harkless off our books this summer.

2) In addition to the salary dump we get a young player back on his rookie deal who still has potential such as Turner and a 1st for RoLo and Bobby Portis or Turner and a 1st for Koufos and Skal (which would also get us under the tax line).

Let's not forget that 3 of Parker's 4 seasons with the Bucks he missed big chunks of time to injury.

*Evan makes a 3 in practice, Dame nods in approval*

It fits your style that you think you are the best at everything and can't just let me have this one thing.
*Evan Turner, jealous of Dame's skill, tries to spite him, fails, and storms away in frustration*

*Steph just sits back, watches the interplay between the others, and shakes his head in disappointment*

Of all the violations of the personal insult rule over the years, calling someone Evan Turner has to be the worst.

You’re gonna hate this because it’s the Lakers but how about a deal centered around CJ and Ingram? LA would have to add KCP and Beasley to make the money work but they’re expirings.
