Hell no on Fournier.
Fournier is a worse defender than CJ and leonard for the next 3 years. Itd need to be a three team trade where we get expirings. The main cog is Bamba -- Fornier is a stable/capable stopgap at SG.
I do. Dont help Houstin, F that. Dont make a move that makes us worse right now. We can dump all that salary in the off-season if we can actually sign someone.I see that Houston is trying to find some wing help and is offering Brandon Knight and a 1st round pick but they aren't finding any takers. I've been trying to come up with some sort of deal with them or 3 team scenarios but unfortunately I'm not having a lot of luck unless they think Harkless could be a bit of an Ariza-lite type player.
How about this:
Rockets get Maurice Harkless and Justin Holiday
Bulls get Evan Turner, Brandon Knight, Meyers Leonard, Houston 2019 1st round pick, and Blazers 2019 1st round pick
Blazers get Jabari Parker and Robin Lopez (Adding Melo works too)
Who says no? Is two 1st rounders enough for the Bulls to take on all that salary? Would/should the Blazers make this big of a move?
Would you help them if we got a 1st out of it? Having two picks in the late teens or early twenties could allow us to get up into the late lottery like in 2017. If CP3 is out awhile they probably won't shoot up the standings like people are waiting for them to do.I do. Dont help Houstin, F that. Dont make a move that makes us worse right now. If the Clippers are out of playoff positioning in the next couple months:
POR Gets: Tobias Harris, Danillo Gallinari, Mike Muscala
LAC Gets: Wilson Chandler, J.J. Redick, 2019 POR 1st, 2021 MIA 1st
PHI Gets: C.J. McCollum, Meyers Leonard
-----
POR Trades: C.J. McCollum, Meyers Leonard, 2019 POR 1st
POR Gets: Tobias Harris, Danillo Gallinari, Mike Muscala
- Portland upgrades it's lineup and fit, as I think Tobias is better than C.J. at this stage. Gallinari would expire at the same time as Turner and Harkless in 2020.
LAC Trades: Tobias Harris, Danillo Gallinari
LAC Gets: Wilson Chandler, J.J. Redick, 2019 POR 1st, 2021 MIA 1st
- The Clippers shed an additional $22M for their 2019 off-season by trading Gallo for expirings, and get two picks for Harris.
PHI Trades: Wilson Chandler, J.J. Redick, Mike Muscala, 2021 MIA 1st
PHI Gets: C.J. McCollum, Meyers Leonard
- Philadelphia gets the star guard they might want, while only giving up expiring role players and a single 1st round pick.

Who do you think this is a good trade for? Bad trade?
Yeah there'd be a follow up somewhere. I don't like Harris playing the 3. Preferably we'd flip Aminu for a solid 2-guard. Maybe hit up Dallas and try to get Matthews for Harkless and Aminu.I think it's too good for Philly. And I don't like the roster imbalance it does to our team, minus a follow up deal or 2.
Lillard/Curry
Stauskus/Turner
Harris/Harkless
Aminu/Gallinari
Nurk/Collins
I think Harris and Gallinari are both better off in the stretch 4 role than as SFs, personally. I think you can get away with them at the 3. Just that it's not ideal. Just not a huge fan of the guard rotation. I think I'd try to explore a deal for one of the guys from the Clippers, instead of moving CJ for both of them.
What team do you think isnt getting enough? That still seems like philly getting McCollum awfully cheap
I always enjoy the grass is greener on the other side mentality in this forum. That is until we move to the other side and find out, it's really not.

The grass is looking pretty green in Oakland

*Olshey falls over trying to get out of his hammock to call Memphis*
Leonard and Turner for Parsons and a 2019 2nd?
I think Memphis would be one of the only good places for Turner's style of play. Portland saves a few bucks and doesn't really lose that much (in my opinion) if Parsons doesn't play. Why would either team do that? It’d put Memphis into the luxury tax while Portland would get a broken player that’s on the verge of retirement.
Is Meyers tradeable now?
Hell NO!Why would either team do that? It’d put Memphis into the luxury tax while Portland would get a broken player that’s on the verge of retirement.
You cant so my subtract his injuries. He is who he is now because of them.I still would like to see Jabari Parker added. The team needs offensive firepower at the forward position. He needs out of the dumpster fire that the Bulls are. New start, new beginning might be just what the doctor ordered. Think of the Bucks version of Jabari. Minus the injuries of course.
