Hey guys, new to the forum. Been following this for a couple months, and finally decided to create my own profile to give my input!

This would have to be completed in 2 separate trades due to Nelson's recent trade. People have been saying we need a 3rd PG, and he's a vet with playoff/Finals experience. And I believe Sullinger is now what we want/hope Robinson can be some day. Just don't know if Sullinger would get too far down on the depth chart when Lopez/Freeland come back to diminish is production as a legit scorer and rebounder.

Why in the world would they trade Sullinger for that?

Well first off, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

Secondly, I doubt Boston parts with Sullinger. He is young and works in their rebuilding plan. I definitely think Nelson would be obtainable. I would support that idea if we knew Jermaine Oneal decides to be a Blazer. I would hate to lose T.Rob and not have a big replacement.

I think Sullinger is a good player but we just have too much PF depth, not a great fit here. Nelson is pretty much done as well. The only players on Boston that really peak my interest are Avery Bradley and Tayshaun Prince.

Well considering they want to tank and their biggest hole is PF, he would be the perfect fit. Also, truck has a ton of talent and would be the perfect player for a rebuilding team.

Maybe that's why Mike Rice has been calling TRob "Tank". Maybe he knows something we don't!

Absolutely not! That would set us back big time.
How would that set us back? We'd be getting the two best players in that deal, and it would give us a formidable 10-man rotation.

However, there's no way Indy parts with Stuckey/Scola for that group.

How? Do you think CJ and T-Rob are going to be future big minute pieces with us? Scola+Kaman+Freeland as a backup big situation is LETHAL, Stuckey is much better and much more proven than CJ and I think we can get a CJ replacement easily in the draft, look at guys like Williams-Goss (from Happy valley), The Harrison Twins, Chasson Randle, etc.

Indy isn't contending this year and they're likely to part ways with them anyway.

Scola is an expiring contract, and a pretty decent player. They will be able to get better rebuilding assets for him than just CJ.

Because Scola is on the downside of his career, while Stuckey is an overlap of what is already working.

It not the players we send out, but the players effected on the new players returning. Freeland and Blake are doing just fine, especially on the defensive end.

Maybe we should just stand pat? Houston since the Josh Smith signing: 7-4 (Memphis only +.500 win) and Dallas since Rondo trade: 7-4. And Portland in the same time period: 10-2. Those trades/signings might help those teams in the long run, but it hasn't made that big of an impact yet. Maybe our best bet is to keep what we have, keep rotating the effective players (Leonard, Crabbe, Robinson, McCollum) behind Blake, Kaman, Freeland, and keep the chemistry intact. I say only make a move if there's another big injury, or a trade we can't refuse.

Okay, try and find a contender that will give up two former lottery pick players for a 34-35 year old on an expiring contract and another vet making under 1 mil. I think Indy does it and runs, they need more youth.

Trade Claver to NYK for a TPE and a future 2nd.

Sign Tayshaun Prince (if bought out)

Then stay put.

Dame / Blake
Wes / Crabbe
Batum / Prince
Aldridge / Freeland
Lopez / Kaman

That's a good playoff lineup.

As I stated yesterday in the Matthews thread I think we should trade all of our starters for draft picks. I think we could get 10 first round picks for them.

3 for Lillard
3 for LMA
2 for Wes
1 for Batum
1 for Lopez

Looks like things have changed since I first posted this.

3 for Lillard
3 for LMA
1 for Wes
2 2nd rnd for Batum
1 for Lopez
2 for CJ
2 for Meyers
2 2nd rnd for AA

Then we could trade the 4 2nd rnd draft picks for 1 1st rnd draft pick.

We can trade everyone for 16 1st rnd draft picks!
