When I woke up this morning, I saw a link on my newsfeed (on the google) suggesting a trade that the Lakers could make. It was Kuzma + draft picks for Jerami Grant (Detroit).

Now, besides the fact that Detroit would be silly to do that trade (of course, it benefits the Lakers), as far as I know, there is no way that this trade would be able to happen. Kuzma makes 13 million and Grant is in line for 20 million next year. That doesn't work, iirc, right cap nerds?

So I went to the link that was provided (https://bleacherreport.com/articles...yNVbmVR_SL3P7HRc53Za9wou8JxgWEe8DjKdrAv_DXnio) and read some of the other scenarios that was offered for each team.

For Portland?

Portland Trail Blazers Receive: PG D.J. Augustin, F Danuel House Jr.
Houston Rockets Receive: F Derrick Jones Jr

Not taking into account that it would be nice to have a backup PG and realistically, DJJ is probably gone after this year, there are some issues with this scenario. Not sure that getting an aging short PG is the answer to their prayers, but also DJJ can opt out.

So let's check out some of the other trades suggested.||

Charlotte Hornets Receive: F/C Pascal Siakam
Toronto Raptors Receive: F/C P.J. Washington, C Vernon Carey Jr., 2021 first-round pick (top-five protected)

Not sure why the Raptors would do that trade, nor do I think it would work cap wise.

Also suggests the Warriors trade Wiseman and Looney (who can and should opt out of next years contract) for Myles Turner.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but how did this article not get shit canned from the get go?

Seem's to me its got to be the law of averages with numbers. With instant circulation with the net and feeds now days all a writer has to do is throw it out there and a percentage of the mass will see it, regardless if its bogus or not.
E Commerce has leveled the playing field for anyone to reach the mass for any reason.

Because the writer's working for free?

bleacherreport, lol.

CJ and Siakam make the same $$$. CJ has a PER of 20.8, Pascal 17.8
Hmmm.

How does much of the media keep their jobs? It's not just in sports.
