-Sacramento has reportedly offered Detroit the #23 and #31 picks in exchange for the #15. The Kings may target DeJuan Blair at 15 if he’s available, while the Pistons like Toney Douglas and possibly DaJuan Summers.

This might clear the way to get the 15 (Detroit has the 14, I assume that's the pick they're talking about) ahead of Sacramento and nab Blair or whichever PG we like.

I'd be fine with that. 31 is a great pick as there is usually little difference in talent available between that late 1st round and the 1st pick of the 2nd round. Plus, it's not a guaranteed contract - so no financial obligation. And if you pick a guy to stash in Europe and he blows up, you aren't bound by the rookie salary scale. If the guy ends up being worth it, you can outbid the European clubs for his services.

Kings have a trade exception for $912,112, more than enough to cover Sergio's salary.

31 is a good pick, we can grab the best euro and not be restricted by the 1st round rookie pay scale. pekovic went last year.

22/31/33 should be able to make another move as well.

(a) I have seriously overvalued Sergio (possible) or

Man, it's sad how far that kid fell. In his first year here we probably could've traded him for a top 10 pick. Hell, maybe more...we got the 6th pick for Telfair.
