Trades that "move the needle"

Fuck that... if Charlotte was willing to trade MKG & Bilbo Baggins for our three guys, we'd take that AND RUN! Olshey would want to cut Boston out IMMEDIATELY!

The point is, Jordan would laugh at that offer.

Take Dildo Baggins out and he would consider it

Charlotte willing to trade doesn't mean Charlotte is looking to get bent over a barrel.

Have you paid much attention to Michael Jordan's moves over the years? It screams tie me up and bend me over a barrel

You want to move the needle, I don't use trade machine but if you could turn any combo of Meyers, TRob, Freeland, Claver, Wright or Will for Vucevic in Orlando, you'd move the needle.

MKG would be awesome.

His offensive game is as bad as I've seen but his defense has all-defensive team potential. Think of him (or I should say - ceiling) as a 6'7" 235 lb. Tony Allen.

No way. Great teams don't try to make themselves better. Stay the course, bake the cake. No reason to try and improve. In fact, let's give up our draft picks for the next several years because we are already contenders and shouldn't try to get better.

CHA would probably trade every single player on their team BUT MKG. Good luck with that one.

Neal has had some locker room issues in the past, but Henderson is intriguing. His inability to hit the makes him unappealing, but he does provide okay D and can be counted on to score ~10 ppg, which is exactly what we need out of a backup wing. If we can get him for DWright and Vic, I'd be all over it.

Henderson is shooting 27% from three and has a player option, I highly doubt any team has any interest in him.

Gary Neal would make sense (40% from three) and is a FA this summer. But with CJ here, even coming back from an injury, I doubt Neil has any interest here.

Truthfully I don't know how any team can be considered a "Contender" until they reach the WCF. We are not even half way though the season.

Maybe Adam Silver can do something truly outside the box and start the playoffs now, so we'll know if the blazers are a contender by the trade deadline? Someone should start a poll.

FWIW, a repeat of Post 375:
The Hornets are searching for upgrades on the wing and at power forward. Anyone other than Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson is available, though they're also unlikely to consider trading Lance Stephenson.

Because we're arguably better without him, and even if by some huge stretch of the imagination we're actually better with him, we're not enough better with him to justify making a change at all.

If it ain't broke, don't let the mechanic anywhere near it.

One thing about Neal is he can stay healthy though.

At one point Lance was someone that I would take a flyer on, but he's making 9 million next year. I'm also not sure if he really fits in Stotts' system.

Let's look at his numbers last year on a decent team though:

13.8 ppg, 7.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 49% from the field and 35% from three.

He had a PER of 14.7.

The guy just strikes me as Nic Batum with a screw loose. I think he's a little overrated and he has an ego. I would rather have MKG from that team, but there really isn't anyone that blows my skirt up.

And let's be honest here.. Only the French tickler has that ability!

How about Marvin Williams?

The chemistry with the starters is as good as I've ever seen with the Blazers.

The bench is where Neil should look to push this team over the top.

PG: Blake
SG: McCollum
SF
PF: Freeland
C: Kaman

Basically find that SF who can come in and be instant offense:

Ideal: Gerald Green
Realistic: ........?
