If I'm olshey I have my eye on Paul George.
Why? He has more trade value than Lillard along with Kawhi, Steph Curry, Towns.

yea that second unit would be pretty tough to watch. would end up being like last year and the year prior where we have a killer first 5 and almost nothing off the bench.
I actually really like Brian Roberts. I hope he sees his role increase next season. It amazes me when people bitch about CJ's point guard skills.
Have they watch any of our second unit PG's since we had Greg Anthony?
Again people, why would Indiana trade the guy who led them to the playoffs and might end up leading them out of the first round?
I really don't see why Indiana would give up Paul George unless they get the better of the trade. I feel like you would have to trade Dame AND CJ otherwise it's not worth it for Indy.
Highly unlikely we'd land him, a third team would need to be involved because I don't see why the Pacers would want a CJ centered package when they have Ellis, Hill, Stuckey, Young, etc. if they could get a team that would take Ellis and give them something worth a damn in return then MAYBE they might be open to a discussion.
Exactly. I wonder if some posters follow anything in the NBA outside of Blazer games.
Next we'll hear comparisons of Aminu or Plumlee to Draymond Green. Oh wait...

I was a fan of Roberts before he came to us. I also hope his role increases next season. He's very underutilized, he could've helped us/CJ/Dame a lot in the reg. season & because he didn't play much in the reg. season, I don't think u can really put him out there much now in the playoffs unless it's a blowout.I actually really like Brian Roberts. I hope he sees his role increase next season.
And next we will hear you spout out 32 wins like you know it all... oh wait...

This isn't an NBA forum. This is a Blazers forum, so yes, i'm sure some people here DO only follow the blazers... your point?
Oh yeah. Your the only one who knows anything here and if anyone disagrees with you you put them on the ignore so you don't have to defend/explain your delusions. Got it.![]()

I'd pull the trigger on that in a heartbeat!Maybe Chicago? Idk.
Honestly if we go down the Chicago route I rather we explore a CJ+Aminu for Butler trade
Butler's a stud, he's still young/checks all the Neil criteria, he's on a cheap contract considering how awesome he is, & the list goes on!
Butler's 1 of my favorite players & even though he's not THE leader... to me/us this IS a good thing; Dame's our leader & Butler's about the best Robin u can get!
He's not a "bad apple." Of course I disagree that he "doesn't fit our culture," his Chi. situation sucks; he hasn't been able to carry the team ever since his knee injury, he needs quite a bit more time to heal from that.Butler is a bad apple. Apparently, no one in Chicago likes him. He thinks he's a superstar and isolates himself from the team and he couldn't even get them into the playoffs. He doesn't fit our culture. No thank you.
Dude. Everyone in Chicago hates him. That is not the type of guy I want on our team. He's not a "bad apple." Of course I disagree that he "doesn't fit our culture," his Chi. situation sucks; he hasn't been able to carry the team ever since his knee injury, he needs quite a bit more time to heal from that.
I wonder what our team would look like if all our mock trades went through? LOL.
They hate him in Chicago because they want him to b THE savior the entire season, he's not that guy; I've np w/ that. Again, like I said ^ he's an unmatched 2nd go-to guy. IF Butler joined us, Dame's our leader & Butler for the entire season beyond... WOULD b awesome in his role!Dude. Everyone in Chicago hates him. That is not the type of guy I want on our team.

Is it time for SlyPokerDog to set up the Gladiator Arena?![]()

I think we want the same things overall. Pretty sure he has me on ignore anyhow, lol. He wouldnt adress a cerious question long before this. ANyhoo...Dude. Everyone in Chicago hates him. That is not the type of guy I want on our team.
Butler was forced to re-sign with the Bulls. He wanted to go to the L*kers of all teams. The only way out of that situation is to be a malcontent. Prior seasons, he was loved by everyone. I do not understand what the Bulls gain by talking down the value of their own player. Idiots.Dude. Everyone in Chicago hates him. That is not the type of guy I want on our team.
How about a Lillard/Henderson backcourt?
Not as sexy? You just shut your whore mouth!
I've read tons of articles over the past several months - Chicago players/management do NOT like Butler. I can't find one of the ones I read earlier this week, but there have been at least 3 articles since the end of the season about how Butler has changed, has burned bridges, and isn't the type of player the Bulls want to build around. With Rose done Chicago wants a new leader, but they hate Butler's leadership qualities. That's why I think - IF we trade CJ for Butler - we need some sweetener from Chicago to make the gamble worth it. Maybe something like CJ/Aminu for Butler/McDermott:He's not a "bad apple." Of course I disagree that he "doesn't fit our culture," his Chi. situation sucks; he hasn't been able to carry the team ever since his knee injury, he needs quite a bit more time to heal from that.
Why would the Bulls give up Jimmy Butler? That's the lone bright spot on that team.
Henderson is a one-on-one black hole. He is suitable for instant offense off the bench. That's it. Playing him next to Dame doesn't do either one of them any good, or the team. How about a Lillard/Henderson backcourt?
Why would the Bulls give up Jimmy Butler? That's the lone bright spot on that team.
Crabbe IF he keeps this up, will have one season of averaging 10/2/1 on 46/35/83 with a 12 PER. Let's say his stats modestly improve to 11/3/2 on 48/37/85. How is that AT ALL comparable to:
Matthews - 6 seasons of 15/3/3 on 44/40/83
Batum - 7 seasons of 13/6/3 on 45/36/84
Parsons - 3 seasons of 14/5/3 on 47/37/70
I think you are severely overrating both Crabbe and the money. Teams don't HAVE to spend their money on anyone. Clearly the Blazers didn't do it last year, and that was arguably an even worse FA class.

Nearly gave me a fucking heart attack! Bumping a Trade CJ thread to talk about Crabbe!I guess I was right![]()
