Don't be surprised if Portland, which has the 21st pick, tries to move up, perhaps to land Colorado shooting guard Alec Burks. Milwaukee (10), Charlotte (9) and Houston (14) are also big Burks' fans. Burks, by the way, has the ideal shooting guard size, measuring 6-6 in shoes, 6-5 without.

Projection: Top 10
Burks has Point Guard handles and quickness, but he is much more of a shooting guard than a point. He can beat the defender off the dribble by getting him on his hip, and he then uses his quickness and length to get where he wants. His ability to score in bunches and create his own shot is what will make him a 1st round pick whenever he decides to head to the NBA. While Burks has some great guard skills, he still needs to improve on his overall shooting ability. He has a very smooth game, but his outside shot still needs work. He hasn't proven to be a consistent 3 point threat in college and there are definitely questions marks as to whether he will be able to extend his range to the NBA 3.
