Trail Blazers @ Suns - Game 5 - Game Thread

Bayless and Aldridhe both hammered. Refs have decided.

Fuck this shit. I have no idea why the NBA is pushing the Suns through to the second round. They aren't good. They aren't going to make any noise past the first round. It's not like they are the Lakers.

So my "I will not get mad at the refs tonight" has been thrown at the window... i'm about as mad as I was when we played in housten last year.

LOL, Bayless dribbles out the clock.

Someone remind him we're behind.

"Phoenix has dominated" no shit.... Roy has three fouls. Camby has two fouls. Howard has three fouls. Gee, I wonder why the Suns were able to come back...

Wow, boo refs! With the officiating this blatantly one way, I think it's safe to say, "<fade to black>....Game over...."

The officiating is killing us, but so if our pathetic attempt at rebounding. What a waste of a fastastic start!

Blazers are too soft to win a playoff series ever.

Doesn't help that the refs handed the Suns the game either.

Can't believe I bought a ticket to a Game 6 lost.

Just once I would love to see NBA refs call a game straight up. Just once.

the worst part is.. channing fucking frye leads all scorers

LMA has one rebound - which was on the perimeter and it came right to him
Rudy shouldn't play again in the series. I was shocked when he was put in the game ahead of Martell.
Howard was terrible, Roy in foul trouble, Batum not very active.

Get it going guys!

I think McMillan subbed to early in the 1st Q.

He didn't make a sub until 5 minutes left in the first when Camby got his second. Then he didn't sub again until 3:30 left to get Roy in. I don't know what the fuck you expect.

I wonder if we shouldn't just have Batum shadow Richardson and play every minute he plays?

I think McMillan subbed to early in the 1st Q.

A lot of things went bad there. It seemed Miller hit a couple shots and then thought he could hit everything and forgot about Aldridge and Batum. Bringing in Roy and Fernandez sure didn't help. Not sure why Rudy is getting any time, and Roy is having a problem integrating. Also spacing seems bad. a lot of times on an entry pass to Aldridge it seemed there were already two guys very close to him just as he was getting the ball.

bronging in rudy is like preparing them to go on a 10-0 run

Who wants to bet Rudy gets another chance to play assuming this thing is still close as well?

Hell no - he made on drive where he got right in the paint and then chucked it out with an easy shot staring him in the face!

Come to think of it....I'm not sure why oh why we ever got rid of Charmin Frye?!?!

He was never the 3 point shooter he is now. He was garbage in every aspect of the game for us. Although, Aldridge definitely makes him look like a beast who is a rebounding machine.

Because he was terrible. Absolutely terrible. All those shots he's hitting against us? Yeah.... they were all bricks while he was in a Blazers uniform.

Someone needs to tell Nate that he sounds like an idiot every time he says any variation of "scrappy" or "scrapping".

Jesus, you guys are soo up tight you can't recognize blatant sarcasm when it's slapped on your face like Grant Hill on Andre. Did nobody see the "Charmin Frye" in the post you guys are responding to?

If nothing else, it was more to laugh at Mixum's quip on wondering why we ever got rid of Z-Bo.
