From: Brian Hendrickson - The Columbian

(PS: The Oregonian should make a play for this guy, IMO)

Push aside thoughts of playoff seedings and win totals for just a moment.

Forget about postseason matchups, or the possibilities of a first-round series victory, and step back a few months for some perspective.

Remember the concerns about the crippling potential surrounding Martell Webster's injury? Or the debate about if Steve Blake could take the Blazers to the next level as its starting point guard? The questions regarding Raef LaFrentz's contract, or how the team's youth could impact the season's potential?

Does anybody remember those questions anymore?

Well, we do, because The Columbian posed 10 of those questions back when the season started.

At that time, the questions focused on what the Blazers faced in the months ahead. Now the Blazers have wrapped up their first playoff berth in six years. New young stars have emerged. And those questions have been answered.

So as Portland faces the final two regular-season games of its most successful season in nine years, it's time to look back on how those 10 key questions were resolved and helped lead Portland back to a spot among the Western Conference's elite..........

I love Hendrickson's stuff. Great article ABM (hey at least you balance out your blech-er report stuff with gems like this )

For your sake, I'll stop with those, if you'd like. Seriously.

You da man in here. I strive to be on your good side.

And thank the baby Jesus that the worst period in the history of the club has come to an end.
