Memphis has waived Miles Plumlee and Ivan Rabb.

Memphis has waived Miles Plumlee and Ivan Rabb.

I'm surprised they aren't keeping Plumlee as an expiring contract for later on. $12.5 million is a big contract to waive.

Edit: Especially when they're paying both Iggy and Josh Jackson not to be there.

Rabb is Lillards boy but I doubt they’re going to give a roster spot to a project. Wouldn’t be surprised if he got a training camp invite or something similar next year though.

So I kinda had an idea about Rabbs game but looking at his numbers has me intrigued a little bit more.

He’s also a good free throw shooter which suggests he can eventually expand his range. Great frame to work with as well (6’10, 7’2” wingspan, 9’1” standing reach)

If he’s available next summer I hope they give him a look.
