The only writers I've bashed are Quick, Canzano and Jaynes. Freeman is fair, usually the guys from The Columbiana are as well.

Nic said the two guys that have surprised him the most so far are Luke Babbitt and LA. LA has a left hand now, and Luke has worked on a lot more than just shooting

being able to go right and gettin better at putting the ball on the floor

I have heard two Freeland interviews, I like this guy, hope he turns out to be a "surprise" as Wes thinks

One new addition to #Blazers practice: A bell that players ring after making 20 free throws in drills. I heard it ring 2 or 3 times today.

It's actually three pointers. And here it is:

Especially this guy:

Stotts refused to give up the name of who failed, but did say he was pleased with the performance of team in conditioning test.

Coach Terry Stotts continued the #Blazers training camp tradition of holding a conditioning test last night. All but one guy passed.

@JasonQuick

Nolan Smith came into camp at 295 lbs.

That's interesting..... because I made it up. I do wonder who failed though.

Dallas Lauderdale failed. He'll never live up to his brother Priest.

Serious question for you, HCP:

Portland has a nationwide reputation for being passionate and knowledgeable about basketball, both the on-court stuff (as evidenced by the Hollinger types) and off-court (like Storyteller and others). Yet Olshey came out in July and said:
You guys (reporters? fans?) worry about the players and the team and how well or how poorly we play and how guys are developing. We'll worry about how we manage our cap and how guys get paid.
Does the organization expect that fans don't care about anything that doesn't happen between the lines? Or are they attempting to manage expectations? Or are they unfamiliar with the cottage industry that being a full-time Blazer fan is? Or are they saying that fans are qualified to voice pleasure or displeasure about how a coach or players are doing, but not on the front office staff?

Day 2 video.
Apparently Batum has forgotten how to shoot threes.
Scott Williams is an assistant coach... for the Idaho Stampede!? Wow, knowing Phil Jackson doesn't count for much.

What they're saying is our opinion doesn't matter in the slightest, so quit bitching to Paul Allen on Twitter about over/underpaying for Nic Batum already.

The internet has made assholes of us all.

Price is really well spoken. Dame can shoot.

Nic has put on 8lbs in 10 days?! Wow.

Understandable given his meals look like this.

Too many carbs and Orange juice is just as bad as soda for sugar. Steak and eggs and fruit, YES!

#Blazers rookie Will Barton did not practice today because of a right hamstring injury. Barton said he's day to day.

Stotts said he is taking much of the offense Adelman ran in Sacramento for our offense
