Best state I have been to is Nevada. Actually the state isn't all that great. Just the city of Las Vegas (or even more specifically the Strip and Freemont St.) puts it #1 so far. Haven't been to Hawaii yet though.

Vegas is great for about 48-72 hours at a time. After that..... I'm ready to go home and have no desire to return for another 10-12 months.

I've been to Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia, DC, New Jersey, Pennslyvania, New York, and Massachusetts. Coming up at the end of the month will be able to cross off Alabama, Georgia and Florida as I'm going to the Wazzu/Auburn game to kick off the college football season. A little over halfway to reaching all 50!

coolest place I've been to is definitely New Orleans. Its like you're out of the country.

its great. the vibe, architecture, and food/drink is out of this world dope. plus titties and booze.

Did you see it pre or post Katrina or both? If both then how does it compare? I have heard it was even better before.

Garden District and French Quarter definitely! Stay away from the rest!

Sent from my baller ass iPad FAMS!

Yeah, you're right, although I figured the Bavarian Alps in southern Germany and northern Austria were probably close. Berchtesgaden will be the first place I go if and when I ever go back to Europe.

Yeah, I kind of had a problem with one of the residents there a few years back...

I lived 3.5 yrs in Hawaii and have not been back since 2000. There are things I miss, but the cost of living and traffic have kept me from going back. You can do the same things Hawaii offers lots of other places much more inexpensively.

I do not think there is a best place to live year round unless you are loaded (California). After retirement, we will probably split time here, the Midwest, and somewhere warm like Arizona.

Lauterbrunnen Valley/Jungfrau.

This. Agreed. That's how I approached it as well. I think with Maxie, we have them covered, except Alabama. Unless jlprk has been to Alabama.

Of course I've been to Alabama. January 1979. I said I was in 40 states by the age of 10, but then I hit some Southern states as an adult. Gulfport, Mississippi was pretty.
