Apparently Dante didn't get the qualifying offer in Charlotte. Do we want him back?

Holy crap, what an insult to Charlotte. Our GM makes a move for Wallace, telling them the real talent coming back in the deal was Cunningham. Fast forward and their GM was our GM and he then says Dante isn't good enough to make an offer for.
Thanks, Rich. I wish PA wouldn't have fired you.
This makes our latest trade look even better! So we got Gerald for what, free?
Btw, he got the QO offer but didn't sign it. He's talking to a few teams.
A 2013 first-round pick.
2 picks for GW, not bad!
Until you consider we were trying to trade him for some picks (that were very unlikely to be super-high lotto picks)....
You can't look at coulda' woulda'.....Some rumors on twitter. We got a quality player for 2 picks, plain and simple!
Fuck, dude. In my opinion, G-Dub is our best player. So I ain't complaining. I was pissed that we were even considering dealing him. I know people talk about him possibly block Nico, but man.... I think we can keep them both and feed both with enough minutes.
The way Portland played changed the day we got him. He can score, he's aggressive on D, and when he gets a steal or a long rebound, he looks to push. He makes the Blazers a much more exciting team to watch.
I was just trying to beat the boo-birds to the punch (such as the mixum doppelganger).
Fez has it correct. Dante did not accept the QO, but he did receive it. We couldn't offer Dante much, and since Charlotte did offer the QO, he is a RFA, so it'd likely be matched.
My understanding is that Charlotte is taking a "Go see what you can approach," and unless it's ridiculous, Charlotte will match.
