I'm happy to see him reliably (past 3 or 4 games at least) get non-garbage minutes...
...but why only 4 every game?

Obviously the kid must be doing something right in practice that Chauncey wants to reward him, but then he yanks him so quickly. Odd. But at least he's in the rotation, unlike, say, Elleby or Brown.

This tells me Roco is gone for sure...they're warming him up in the bullpin in case..I'm glad Chauncey isn't afraid to play rookies against NBA talent

Without Zeller we are short a big. Watford is more willing to mix it up down low than Brown is. Elleby can't play that role. He's getting minutes because he's the lone alternative. TBF, he's generally performed adequately, but he's also not being asked to do a lot.

Play the young guys....why not? It's obviously higher drafted players, but look what the Cavs are doing with a largely under 24 roster. Up to 3# in the East.

Cavs are really good. Rubio has been awesome for them. And Love is starting to wake up. If Mobley stays healthy, they could make it to the ECF or better.

Ed Davis is their starting center recently I heard and he's been rebounding really well...he's part of their success....we should've picked him up instead of Zeller

To be fair, Zeller SHOULD be much better at this point in their respective careers.

Just a shame he doesn't get 35 mins per game in G League to get more experience.

Only reason he even sees the court is because Zeller is hurt and Nurk can't stay on the court.

Cavs have literally been the best team in the NBA over the last ten games.

Love is +9, 14.6 points, 6.5 rbs, 49% from 3... in under 20 mpg. Right now I don't think the Cavs would trade him for CJ if WE included a pick.

It is what we should go for after a conplete teardown. Gives us the best sustainable opportunity at a potential contender. That is what small market trams generally have to do. We waited to long to go for it and made too many dumb moves. Our timeline can't really be like the Bucks.

Just like Wenyen Gabriel, The guy won’t stick. Don’t fall in love.

I like him more then Brown because he hasn't really hurt the team while he goes in the game. I think he is ahead of Brown as useable player the Brown is at this time. Don't mean brown can't get there but he has a long was to go help us.

Gets better every game. Tonight was the most confident I’ve seen him. He was balling on both ends. His defense is seriously good, and will only get better with experience.

Only problem is we’re gonna have a hard time giving him minutes to develop when Nance returns. Wonder how or if that’ll factor in Cronin’s deadline plans.

Nance should probably be used to get assets to package in a CJ/Roco deal for a Simmons or Siakam type guy. Watford has been really good.

Look, we'll need another All Star caliber player next to Dame. Ideally front court/long wing . Give up whatever it takes to get that player here quick. Ideally with more than one year left on their contract.

If you aren't an obvious contender with that player then you can talk to Dame and see if he wants to go someplace else. If so, you will be able trade Dame and the other All Star Caliber player for a great start at a rebuild.

Everything on our roster should be up for trade right now, except Dame and possibly Simons.

Is Simons as good as CJ was his breakout year? Honestly I haven't had much time to watch the Blazers due to basketball practices...

Not sure it really matters what Watford's analytics are at this point in his career. The guy has been playing well. He has given us way more help at C/PF than anyone anticipated for his 1st year. (especially for a rookie on a 2-way contract) He might never be "really good" but I think we can all agree he has been "pretty good" for the Blazers at a time they needed him. He has a decent all-around game. Good length for his size.

He reminds of a younger Lloyd Neil.

Trendon seems to be getting more confident around the hoop offensively. He's not timid and looks to impact the game by playing to his strengths.

I think he's playing his way into a role off the bench. He has a little positional versatility and a good all-around game. I could see him and Nance pairing pretty well off the bench together, not so much when Zeller is healthy, though.
