Just looking at the top Triple Double Blazers in history.

1. Clyde Drexler - 18 in 867 games (triple double every 48.1 games)
2. Terry Porter - 7 in 758 games (one every 108.2 games)
2. Sidney Wicks - 7 in 398 games (one every 56.8 games)
4. Bill Walton - 5 in 209 games (one every 41.8 games)
5. Nicolas Batum - 4 in 481 games (one every 120.25 games)
5. Deni Avdija - 4 in 93 games (one every 23.25 games)

For Deni to overtake Drexler at the top of the tier (assuming the same rate) he needs only 349 more games (not that I expect he'll continue at this pace as we get more people back off the injured list.

Others with triple-doubles as Blazers.

3 - Damian Lillard & Damon Stoudamire
2 - Evan Turner, Rod Strickland, Mychal Thompson, John Johnson, Dale Schluter
1 - Jusuf Nurkic, CJ McCollum, Brandon Roy, Jerome Kersey, Larry Steele, Jim Barnett

Are triple doubles a GOOD thing? I heard differently on here.

Being a ballhog loudmouth is BAD. Triple doubles are neutral. They mean we need to give Deni help.
Ohhh, I’m getting it. So if the player who gets them plays for YOUR team it’s good. But if the player is a jerk it’s NOT. Cool. Just wanted to get that straight.
Could you imagine if people didn’t listen to the music of a certain artist or band simply because said artist was an asshole? Imagine all the horrible things Led Zepplin or Miles Davis did?

Buddy, I'm a leftist, I've dealt with this exact moral question for like a decade. Russell Westbrook was a jerk to LITERALLY YOU. And because of that, I get to not like anything he does. This is sports, and sports ain't real.

Also, if you're so fucking smart, how did you feel about Ruben Patterson?

Thanks for putting this together! I can't believe Nic Batum isn't on the list...I used to notice he'd have triple 9 games and sit out the endgame not bothered...he's probably the triple 9 king of Blazer history!

Ummmm. Look at #5? he has 4, same has Deni.

Drexler began and played most of his career in Portland. Avdija played his first four years in Washington before coming to Portland, and recorded his first triple-double here.

I'm curious how they compare head-to-head, over the same number of years in the league (first 5.5 seasons), not just while wearing a Blazers uniform.

First of all, I’m NOT smart…..
Second I loved Ruben! Loved his heart and hustle. Every team needs a player like that.
And C….. I think I love Russ BECAUSE he was a jerk to me!

Eff u, you d*** b*****, and I don't care how much you love me? ;)

Didn't think @THE HCP is a masochist

For the record, always respected Russ for how hard he played/plays, but never liked him as a player and thought his superstardom was overrated somewhat
