So some of you guys might've heard of this YouTube channel. The man who started it (Eric) does a great job of postng top notch Blazer highlights after each game and has been active for a year with steady growth. I've been watching his videos from the start, and now one gotren the priveledge of partnering with him to make some Blazer analysis/discussion videos and were going to grow and expand while becoming one of the top media providers of Blazer content. Just wanted to drop the link in here. Hopefully it's something you guys will enjoy!

Maybe it's because I read only about 5% of all posts here, but it was a new theory to me when I heard you say it. If you've written about it on the board here, can you link me to it? I'd like to read a complete explanation.

Here it is:

After doing some research, I've concluded that Gary Trent's reach was inaccurately reported at the NBA combine. Hear me out:

Here Trent is listed with an 8'4 standing reach. Trent also measured as .75 inches shorter.

Going back through previous combine data, I could not find a guard that was 6'5 or taller, with a wingspan that was 6'8 or taller, that didn't have a standing reach 8'3 or taller

Compared with the rest of combine measurements, his standing reach is abnormally short compared to his height:

Gary's Reach to Height measurement is 1.26, which would put him in the bottom 1% of combine participants in terms of that ratio. Of course, that doesn't take wingspan into account, so that's possible if a player has an abnormally short wingspan for his height... but Trent doesnt. He has a 6'8.75 wingspan (which is also .75 inches longer than his 2017 measurements).

How can you add 3/4 of an inch to both height and wingspan and standing reach falls 2 inches, to an extremely abnormal point for a player with any wingspan, let alone one that's 3 inches more than height?

I think that's impossible, and I estimate Trent's standing reach at 8'5-8'6ish, not 8'2, which makes me more enthusiastic about him as a pick, as he would be a much better fit at SF than I previously thought.

Nice work! I'm a Cowboys fan and I follow around five youtubers that cover the team, with likely another 2-3 times that in existence. So, I've been amazed I can't find even one Blazer channel on youtube. Good quality and presentation, I'll keep checking in.

YouTube is a great platform, and there's definitely a void when it cones to Blazer coverage that were gonna try to fill!

The NBA claims the videos and puts an ad on it for themselves. In the future, were gonna look to advertise straight within the video.

Maximillion and PinwheelEmpire both used to make a lot of videos and no longer post here.
I couldn't imagine anyone complaining about them though, the videos were amazing.
