I'm still bewildered at people thinking RFK Jr will pull votes from Biden. RFK Jr will dilute Trump's voting base more than he will dilute Biden's voting base.
 
Polls actually showing he hurts Biden more. Trump cult isn't moving. Uncertain Biden voters think Kennedy is something new.

Seriously, any would-be Biden voter who somehow thinks Kennedy represents their views even a little bit clearly has no idea what they're talking about. (BTW, I also think the same about anyone who thinks voting for Trump is a reasonable choice).

I don't buy the polls. They are not reliable. Kennedy is a republican so of course he will pull republican votes away from Trump.

I think people know what they want better than you know what they want. Not everyone fits into a pre labeled box.
All you are saying here is anyone who doesn’t vote for Biden is stupid because you said so. It isn’t a super compelling argument.

Not at all.
  1. Some people who are would-be Biden voters should vote for Biden.
  2. Some people who are would-be Biden voters but are not fans of Biden should probably vote for someone else--but certainly not Kennedy.
  3. Some people who are not would-be Biden voters at all probably agree with a lot of Kennedy's positions. They should vote for Kennedy.
  4. Some people who are not would-be Biden voters at all probably do not agree with the preponderance of Kennedy's positions. They should probably vote for someone else.
After all that, I know that there will be plenty of people who believe voting for Trump to be a reasonable position. I believe that to be an ignorant position, and I am comfortable with that analysis.

sort of like when JFK won the election, something new. Even if he was Irish, Catholic with long hair. Many young people simply vote based on style or anything other than political views.

Intuition says RFK Jr would be a hindrance to Trump and a net positive for Biden, but that's not the case so far in battleground state polls. I'll give him credit for leaning progressive with his VP choice instead of falling into whatever the hell the Libertarian party is today. It's always possible he cools off completely when the election draws closer, but it's looking like whoever loses is going to despise him.
 
Kennedy is hastily trying to walk back his claim that convicted January 6 insurrections are "political prisoners" deprived of constitutional rights.
 
Echoing Putin, Kennedy said Russia is trying to "de-nazify" Ukraine.

She wasn’t suggesting that’s the purpose of their campaign, she was expounding on one of the few hypothetical scenarios. I’m sure they are running to win regardless of how slim the chances are. Third party candidates are allowed to run, despite how hard the DNC tries to obstruct them.

I like to think that most of the younger people that are "undecided" or are "now" not voting for Biden, were never going ot in the first place.

To be fair “gives weapons to a militaristic regime performing a genocide of innocent civilians in a collective punishment action that is literally a war crime” is a big issue to a lot of people who haven’t yet been ground down to nothing by having to work exploitative hours for pay that isn’t even half of a living wage.
