Saying what Trump said gives the extremists even more reason to hate us.

It gives them more propaganda fodder, but their hatred of the West is already off the charts.
It would be like suggesting that anything Kobe has ever done somehow made me hate the Lakers more. Not possible; I was already turned up to 11.

Ahhhhhhhhhh fuck.

Now they mad.

You do know that your existence (and mine by the way) is enough to make them want us dead. You'd be first, but feel better knowing Donald Trump pissed them off.

Jeeeeesssuuuusss fuck I'm going to write in Kevin Durant for President. Hopefully he'll answer everything with "tough shit"

Uh, yeah.... because THAT'S why they hate us, because we don't want them to come here, and feel like were shunning them. Wrong. They hate us because we do not believe in their god or their way of life, and their teachings are to destroy infidels who don't believe in what they do.

But sure, it's the American way, we take anyone, even people who want to murder us, so whatever, keep the borders open. Just keep your shit-ass gun control laws away from me so I can defend myself and others when some religious jack-ass wants to hurt people.

SlyPokerDog is so ignorant. Isis can use Trump's statement as a recruiting tool. You don't call out 99.9999% of Muslims for what a few have done. Are you a Christian? By Trump's way of thinking, we should put all Christians in internment camps for their terrorist actions. It's ridiculous. Luckily, almost everyone on both sides of the aisle have condemned Trump's statement. It's UnAmerican! Make America Great Again? More like Make America Hate Again. As for guns, has anyone ever used a gun to defend themselves during a terrorist attack? Not that I can remember. Also, do you think guns helped all the people trapped in the World Trade Center on 9/11? More guns equals more gun violence.

You've gotta be kidding me. 99.9999% of Muslims aren't terrorists. I suppose you want Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon shipped out. This is like Nazi Germany or what what we did to Japanese Americans during WW2.

I suppose we should ban all Christians because of violence against abortion clinics.

You are so naive. Did you know that 61% of British Muslims support punishing homosexuality? Homosexuality is illegal in the Muslim world, and many Muslim countries actually impose the death penalty for it.

And trump said nothing about shipping anyone out. He's talking about letting them in. No one has a right to immigrate to our country, it's a privlidge we grant them.

Ugh. This whole diatribe is wrong on so many levels. Point #1, about this being used as an ISIS recruiting tool. Really? That's what's going to push someone over the edge into wanting to kill people? If it does, they were whacked out anyway and would have joined at any provocation. But this is like saying, "if a burglar tries to break into your house, you better just let him, otherwise he's going to get mad and rob your home.

Point #2. No, it's not. Trump's comments had nothing to do with internment camps or deportation. He's saying don't allow immigration. Not allowing a forgiener to immigrate here is in no way similar to putting a citizen in an interment camp.

Point #3. Most Muslim terror attacks have taken place in Europe where guns are banned, also, they've been bombings that are detonated remotely. The recent attack we had in the US, no one in the building had a gun. What do you think would have happened if they had run into a building full of armed people and started shooting?

Yes but different point

If Trump were to casually mention in one of his rants that he's actually more of an agnostic than a believing Christian, how much would his poll numbers drop?

Same as any other politician.

Do you really believe Obama, Hilary, Bush or Fiorina believe in god?

if you ban muslims from coming, only the bad ones will enter. you do nothing to keep the terrorists out, you just keep good ones away.

That way when Fiorina shoots all Syrian refugees in the head, as she has promised to do, we'll know she's only shooting terrorists.

Me, I doubt any of those four believe.

It would be interesting, though, to know how much a candidate would drop if they came out and said they didn't really give a shit about religion.

Probably a lot. But somebody has to go first, and after that it won't be a big deal anymore.

Why do you give a fuck what they think?

They want to kill your entire family in the most publicly painful way they can concoct. That Christmas party in San Bernadino was your family. Your parents, siblings and cousins were the victims. Some died horribly, others will be maimed and crippled for life.

All the political correctness in the world will have no effect at all because these are truly evil people intent on killing hundreds of millions of people. That is their stated goal.

Hilary, Fiorina and Bush would drop, Bernie and Trump would not.

Many people are too young to remember, but we've handled this shit before and with little outcry during or after.

During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put pressure on Iran. Among these, Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency.

Here’s Jimmy “Hitler” Carter saying it back in 1980.

Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly.

Apparently barring people from a terrorist country is not against “our values” after all. It may even be “who we are”. Either that or Carter was a racist monster just like Trump.

Meanwhile here’s how the Iranian students in the US were treated.

Carter orders 50,000 Iranian students in US to report to immigration office with view to deporting those in violation of their visas. On 27 December 1979, US appeals court allows deportation of Iranian students found in violation.

In November 1979, the Attorney General had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Around 7,000 were found in violation of their visas. Around 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the US.
