Seriously. The Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution causes one to contemplate the meaning, Perhaps even inspires one to read and understand it. You do not get this from one read of that document alone.
Being a fast study, but much slower than I would like, I can say it took much time and effort to grasp the brilliants of this document. Much longer even to see the beauty in continuity in the Declaration of Independence, to the implementation of the goal, the codification it in the Constitution. Jefferson's wisdom as expressed in the Declaration of Independence was a marvel on it's own, but to have is capped with Madison's (Jefferson's protege) work on the Constitution to back up the concept is truly the foundation of this nation.

The concept that we are endowed with inalienable rights by our creator, which to me, means they are non negotiable, then to the right to speak freely, with the right to enforce this freedom if necessary with the force of arms is damn near an immaculate conception to be grasped by all willing. These concepts are embodied in Natural law, but never so precisely implemented by any nation until these men showed us the way.
It pains me to see such frivolous usage of the right to speak, simply in virtue signalling to your homies. Most that have ever contemplated the UCMJ have probably came to the same conclusion, that is not blow off frivolously, at least those capable. I suspect it would be good if all citizens tried.
